Terrible Customer Service. Don't return phone calls, don't follow up on questions when asked, didn't help out after Sally, and don't provide all the discounts you might be entitled to. Their rates are not as competitive as other agencies that insure with the same companies they us. Definitely shop around. There's lots of great insurance companies out there that truly care about their customers, but this isn't one of those.

So, I've been a McCarron customer for several years - what a disappointment. During this time I've sought ways to "bundle" my policies trying to get the most coverage for my $ - what a joke. I've learned as an independent agent the owner (let's say his name is Joe) could select certain carriers to better benifit his need rather than his customers. By only offering 1 or 2 options for autos (as an example) the customer may feel he or her has a choice but you can go to directly to McCarron's auto carriers own website and get a better deal. At McCarron Ins, there is no general agent with the ability or skill set to handle home, auto or boat/RV you are "man handled" through the most inefficient path of recklessness. To everyone - don't be fooled by their appearance and community involvement, there are other agents out there wanting to serve you with your interest in mind and simply care. If you have money to throw away and prefer to waste your time and energy then sign up with McCarron and sit back and enjoy the ride.

Horrible service, do not use this insurance company. Additional items needed to bind a policy are back on the customer, which should be the client, however they are only concerned about their daily operation. This includes not being able to complete basic internet searches for public information and a general lack of care.
