If I could rate it with no stars I would. They didn’t ever seem to care when I rented from them how disgusting their carpets and everything about the apartment was. Now they charge 1000 dollars for the 2 bed 1 bath i rented not worth it at all. They are infested with roaches and dirty tenants.

I am not impressed with this place because my mom and myself paid for app. Fee times two and they offered us a small one bedroom shack that was not fit to be lived in not to mention we needed a bigger home with two bedrooms and when we told them that they refuse to accommodate us even though they had other homes for rent with two bedrooms but we couldn't get anyone to answer our calls or massages till the months were up and we had to do another application fee times two again and still rudely put on hold and never was able to get a response from anyone in the porterville office. Bad business if you ask me!!! Just saying what my experience has been with dealing with this rental agency.

Blue Sky management is not the place to go to. Please be aware ! They help you get a place and all is well until you move out. Say goodbye to your security deposit. I don’t know why they bother doing the inspection if they will never look at it and just charge you for things that were already damaged.
I moved out November 2019 and it is now February 2021 and they have not been able to take a look at my file to reconsider the fees they are charging after we have kindly requested plenty of times. The receptionist has attitude and doesn’t bother to even try helping you out, honestly they should just not have a receptionist because it’s like speaking to the wall. After so many attempts to try and speak to someone that can review both of my inspections the one before I moved in and the inspection after I moved out I really don’t know what to do. It’s been a stressful experience that I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through.

RENTER BEWARE!!!
Would rate zero stars if possible. I rented a house from Blue sky for a good amount of money every month. I was constantly harassed about "lawn care" almost every other week even though I was regularly watering and cutting my lawn. Throughout the course of a 1 year lease they requested entry into my residence over 6 times to take pictures of my belongings. I put in over 8 maintenance requests in those 12 months for things like outlets not working, air conditioning not working, and this was a fairly new and nice home. They never got resolved. They would send someone to look at the air conditioner, told us there was a leak and fill it with coolant and then have to come back again the next month to fill more coolant instead of fixing the issue. The outlets never got repaired. Well after all the annoyances with the company I gave them my 30 day notice as required letting them know I was leaving the day that my lease was over, I was tired of them. I thoroughly cleaned the house, scrubbed the walls, shampooed the carpets, put putty on any nail holes, clean out and scrubbed every cabinet, cleaned all the tiles etc. 45 days later I get my security deposit back in the mail missing over $600 in charges for patching nail holes, cleaning costs and a broken outlet. I called in to ask about it and the lady told me they would have someone look into it and get back to me. Its been over 2 months and I have still heard nothing. I deposited the check that they gave me for the rest of my deposit, and the check bounced. 2 days after deposit the money was removed from my account because the check was no good. I tried calling them and leaving voicemails. Called over 20 times trying to reach someone, never receive a call back and never get an answer. These company has robbed me for over $1100 and wasted a serious amount of my time. I would never recommend anyone doing business with them. RENTER BEWARE!!!

Recently got off the phone with a manager with this company and she was completely rude. Over-talking me and extremely loud. Most property places show a Waitlist for what has an application pending, but I guess due to the housing crisis property management have to make extra money some how with application fees $20-50 a pop with from what I am told at least 100 applicants on each given property at a time. Don't waste small but valuable money during these times with a place with a rude manager and essentially no actually place to rent to you. Just the idea that you might have a place. That should be against the law.

We have rented from Blue Sky for 6 years, moved multiple times with them and they are wonderful! I think some of these reviews on here are fake!!! We have never had a bad experience with any of the staff, if we put in a request it is responded to quickly and the problem is resolved in a day or two depending on the severity. I don't know if the people who reviewed them are mad because of a rent situation or what but I think Blue Sky is one of the best rental companies in the area and will rent from them until I can afford to buy a house!!!! Thank you Blue Sky!!!!

The officer manager Melanie hung up on me as I was just trying to explain the cooling for our apartment needs to be turned on. She kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain we have elders here that suffer from the heat and eventually hung up as I was just trying to explain that. I had initally requested the cooling to be turned on 3 weeks ago with no action or answer. I had then tried to call back and complain that their office manager had done this and they hang up on me! The entire staff and office there is extremely rude and unprofessional. Good luck if you had to deal with people like this.

This places is a HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! I have good credit no evictions and make 5 times the rent with no evictions and no criminal record yet time after time another applicant was chosen over me like really 3 different properties someone else was chosen yet bluesky could not explain why having the deposit and 2 months rent in advance have not yet been able to rent one of there properties. I would give them o stars but cant
