By far the worst customer service I have ever received from a business. Julie smithie to be more specific. Can never get her on the phone or to call you back, but will call you when she’s excited to tell you some bad news. Her and I had a couple of conversations that were not pleasant. After speaking to CEO Mary, I let her know the nasty things her branch manager said and the attitude she had on the phone and made nothing but excuses. By the end, I was out of town working l, and get a phone call that they have locked my cards and bank account, and terminated it as well. Luckily another credit union was there to save my day, and left me with nothing but positivity. There is not one positive thing I could say about this bank. I would definitely explore your options, because they are hiding behind a mask at the beginning of your journey with them. Hope this review helps you eliminate banks off your list of options!

During the midst of Hurricane Helene damage, Marshland Credit Union conducted a $600 transfer from my checking account to a personal loan that I have through them. We were out of power for 7 days and limited cell phone service, but as far as I can tell no one notified me this was occurring. What if I had needed this money for essential supplies? My loan was due on September 20, and the money was taken from my account on October 1st- so 10 days. 10 days grace is what you will be given at this bank.

Best banking experience I have had in a long time!!! It’s rare to walk into a bank and actually be acknowledged these days. Demi goes above and beyond to make sure that I have all my needs taken care of as well as the other ladies there at the branch too!

High overdraft fees and charges. Debit card stopped working and they want to charge me too replace it. All my other cards in my wallet are just fine. Poor customer service. Ill be closing this account as soon as possible.
