Is there a quick to come and turn your water off but take forever to turn it back on it doesn't make any sense and then they talking they wonder why they have a 2.7 bad and poor communication

I don't like to complain, but JWS has a habit of shutting off water for projects without notifying residents. This has happened to me several times. The last time it happened a few months ago, I came home one day to find my entire driveway demolished. No notification and no way to get into my garage. I had to call my commissioner to get it repaired because JWS wouldn't respond to me after weeks of calling. Once he got involved, everything was resolved promptly and the people I spoke with were most courteous. I would not have written this review, had this not happened again tonight despite the assurance that I would be notified of any service interruptions due to projects or emergencies. On the other hand, when I and other residents have emergency leaks or sewage issues, the emergency line is never available for us to call. It's very frustrating to have these types of situations happen multiple times.

ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service!!! I rarely ever get a bill emailed or mailed to me & when I do it’s usually a disconnect notice (usually every 3 months or more) I try to remember when it’s due on my own. I paid just under $200 on the 6th and it is now the 14th & I apparently under paid by $17.32 so they shut it off and then charged me $75 to reconnect and refused to turn it back on unless I paid the remainder of my bill as well that isn’t due until the 31st of this month costing me an additional $192 totaling over $400 in under a week & a half (8 days to be exact). All because they don’t send my bills. The woman I spoke with was also very dismissive and condescending. I’ve done 18 years in customer service management & still can’t believe people with no patience or people skills insist on working with the public.

Ok it is Feb 14 I received a paper bill from water department for 30.00 + change for my water bill go on line to pay over 63.00 I have checked to see if my bill could be paid in the last 1-2 weeks 3 xs 0 $$ due so what’s going on here

Thank you for having a crew out to Marshview Condos this afternoon in minutes! Our water as accidentally disrupted and both you guys and the work crews on site were great. Regardless of how long it takes to restore....thanks to all for a great job!

I had a problem with my bill. I used the online chat. Jay Sellers immediately responded . He explained how I could easily make an online payment. Jay was very kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue. Jay has been a great help many times in my work at Glynn county schools food and nutrition services but this is the first time I have had a problem that is non work related. I was extremely happy to find out the the help and service I received personally was just as outstanding as the help and service I receive in work related issues. Thank you Jay for always responding and for always being kind and helpful. I appreciate it more than you know. I really can't say thank you enough for all you do.

Joey responded to me via chat. He was quick in his response and helped me resolve my issue.
I was not happy however with the fact that I received a letter from a collection agency saying that I had not paid a final bill on a property I sold. I have paid my water bill on time consistently for 30 years and I would have thought I would have been contacted about an unpaid bill before being turned over to a collection agency. This was a bill that I had not received in the mail and did not even know I owed any money until contacted by the collection agency.
