This is 99% about the Liberty Ship facility from World War II. It was a pleasure swamping it and exploring the former berths of Brunswick’s impressive contribution to the war effort.

You have to be willing to feed the mosquitoes, to be a mudder, and to bleed 🩸 your way through the vines. BTW the east entrance into the mostly vacant site had no “No trespassing” sign but at the extreme other end, there was one.

The park at the base of the bridge very pretty. I was there for sunrise and many people out walking, jogging, fishing. Free to use and park.

Some kids built a skateboard site in the bush.

Bird viewing was very peaceful; I have no idea why the $$$$ property is embedded in the vacant site except for well $$$$.

Cool piece of history. It should be advertised and displayed instead of letting become overgrown and removing it for a neighborhood.
