Lynsey is absolutely awesome! Gunnar our Golden was becoming uncontrollable. He was jumping on us and resource guarding. He spent 3 weeks in training and he acts like a different dog. Before his training we had to keep him on a leash when we had company, now he has some manners. He’s 18 months old and he gets excited, but the difference in him is amazing. Lynsey took him on a field trip the week of Thanksgiving, he was so happy to see her! That tells me a lot, he loves her and trusts her. We are so thankful to her for everything she has done for Gunnar!

I can't recommend Lynsey enough! Over the past three weeks, she boarded and trained my dog, and the results are incredible. My dog listens to commands perfectly and no longer pulls on the leash. Lynsey also came to our home to teach us how to continue the training, ensuring consistency. She went above and beyond by cooking meals for my dog when we ran out of food while we were away. Truly outstanding service and care!

Lynsey did such excellent work with our friend's dog that we had to contact her! Our friend's dog went from cowering in the corner to complete off-leash obedience. After the first session, both of our dogs had improved behavior. We respect her openness in emphasizing the owner's commitment to the training cycle and consider her a lifelong asset for our current and future furbabies. I could not recommend her enough!

Beau is a 6-year-old husky. He is incredibly smart, incredibly stubborn but also more on the nervous/cautious side. I jokingly compare him to a cat. He's has never been one to be overtly affectionate. It's Beau's world and my husband and I are just living in it.

My husband and I discussed many different routes and decided that with Beau’s age, breed, and our schedules it would be best if we sent him to someone who would be able to give him the focus and attention, he needed to kick start in his training. Recall was really our number one goal for him. Spending 45 minutes on any given day to try and coax him back into the house, as you can imagine, gets old quick. If he doesn’t wanna, he’s not gonna.

Enter Lynsey. Her love for dogs is obvious, just like her skills in training. Since Day 1, well before his stay, she was there providing guidance on how we could be better leaders/parents for our Fur Baby and this new lifestyle.

Fun Fact: you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! It’s been a week since we got our sweet boy back and we couldn’t be happier! Beau is thriving with the new structure and overall seems to be a happier dog. He even seeks out love and cuddles from us now!

We know that Beaus training isn’t over. This is something that we will have to work on with him to make sure he’s held accountable for his actions but it’s nice to know that Lynsey will be there to help us/him along when/if we need her. Thank you will never be enough for the confidence she helped Beau gain not to mention the confidence she gave US to continue his training.

Lynsey, thank you for taking in our boy and loving him through all his sassiness. We are forever grateful for your work with him and us.

Marty did a 3 week board and train with Lynsey almost 2 years ago and I can’t say enough about the lasting changes we saw in Marty! She helped transform Marty into the well behaved dog he is today. She worked with him (and us) on commands and being able to remain calm and listen in chaos (3 young active kids in our family). Highly recommend Lynsey and Sunshine Training!

Lynsey's guidance with training our pup has been extremely helpful! Lynsey with Sunshine K9 is a Godsend....She has changed my life and made my dog a completely different dog. Hachi went from NEVER being able to be off a leash or she would RUUUUUUN and never look back. She had ZERO listening skills and had actually pulled me to the ground 3 times. Lynsey's hard work with not only Hachi but myself has changed our life. Lynsey has so much love and compassion for the training and well being of the dogs she trains and cares for. I was pulling my hair out with my energetic, resource guarding, bossy, seven month old bull terrier. Sunshine K9 Training was my savior. They trained Doc and also trained me. Between the Herm Sprenger collar and the e collar, I have a sweet, well behaved dog. I am able to even walk him off leash with the e collar. He knows he has the freedom to run on the beach or in a park off leash and I know he won’t run off. He just turned 3 and I know he would not be the dog he is today without Sunshine K9.
