At first the card was fine they gave me $32,000 based on my credit then later on lowered my card to $18,000 for whatever reason. Texas had two hurricanes one in July we had no power a week I called and informed them I would be late then August we had another hurricane and again no power for a week I called again to communicate the issue asking for a courtesy. So far it's been awful they have had my account under review pretty much since July it seems as if they closed it. I've been calling for months asking to speak to a supervisor to review my account showing I never been late past two years. They can never give a strait answer on when my account will be active but each month still looking to receive payment, I don't recommend this card unless you pay full balance each month, the fees are insane ! Stick with American Express and chase they give you large amounts and don't cut your card off with no explanations besides oh you were late. I was only one week late each month and I called in advance. Literally avoid this company there are many others out there that treat customers better.

Avoid Capital on Tap at all costs!
I spent a whopping $50,000 on their credit card in the first 6-7 months of having the account—always paying on time and fully paying off the balance. After taking a brief break from using the card for a few months, I was blindsided by an email stating that they were closing my account due to “low usage.” No warning, no explanation, just a cold, impersonal notice.

But the worst part? They outright stole the $1,400 in reward points I had earned during that time. Their response? “Sorry, your account is inactive, so there’s nothing you can do about it.” No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation—just a clear message that they don’t care about their customers.

This company’s practices are shady, predatory, and completely disrespectful. It’s clear they’ll do whatever they can to take advantage of you once you stop using their card for a while. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Capital on Tap. They’ll just take your money, punish you for not using their card constantly, and then rob you of the reward points you earned. Total joke.

A great card for small businesses and excellent customer service! I wish, though, that I can set up my own payments for weekly on the minimum amount due each month. It’s easier on cash flow for small businesses.

I set up an account, but I put in my office number in the application product that does not receive text Messages. So when I would get a text to verify the account, I would not receive them. it was a bit of trouble. Me verified, but Vedanta helped me get verified and got my cell number updated so I can use the account.
