I was a first time buyer and I was obviously extremely nervous and a little intimidated. I heard of Bill Kornblum through a friend of mine. Bill was actually on the opposite side of the purchase (he represented the seller) of her new home. As I begin my search for a realtor, she pleaded with me to immediately cease my search and to not consider anyone, but Bill. I was shocked at her candor because she is extremely difficult to impress, LOL. So I took her word for it and by God a.m. I happy I did.

I sent Bill a text message introducing myself and he immediately called me back. He was well educated, intelligent, and was extremely confident in his abilities to get me my “dream home.”

After Bill and I agreed to get the ball rolling immediately, he then referred me to a loan officer with whom he works closely with in Al (A&M Mortgage in Merryville, IN). Al was phenomenal as well. Very detailed and determined in getting me situated with a great rate and answered every single question I had.

Bill was the mastermind behind every detail when it came to purchasing my home. He considered himself an advisor, but he was actually the brains behind the operation. When we discovered my home, it literally checked every single box. I gave Bill a long list of preferable demands (LOL) and he never blinked. He educated me on the school system, the history of the town, any potential flooding issues, shopping, furnaces, hot water tanks, landscape, etc. He really knows his stuff and he gets it. He understands how nervous this experience can be for someone and he went out of his way to make me comfortable and help me navigate the anxiety. He never once pressured me into any property, he was extremely patient, and he answered every text and call. This guy was even working on his vacation!!

As good of a realtor as Bill is and as much integrity he possesses, he had a system in place that was on par with all of those awesome intangibles. Bill found me a beautiful home on Monday, 07/09/2018 and asked if I was interested. His verbatim quote: let’s get in there and see this beauty. We have to get on this today, while everyone just got back from vacation and stuck on that holiday hangover. They may not get out and start looking until Wednesday (a Monday after a mid-week holiday is the worst, LOL).

The system: after viewing this spectacular home, Bill and I literally drove right over to his office and immediately started the paperwork to present our offer. Everything up to that point was going great. But, Bill then stated, “Antwan, we could have you moved into this home in 28 days or less.” I was at a lost for words!! In no way did I think a 28 day close was feasible, but it was!! When I tell you this system Bill and Al have in place moves fast, that’s an understatement. This was light-speed fast! Literally everything went so smoothly. No hiccups or pot holes in the road.

Everyone tell me how lucky I was, that this isn’t to be expected as a norm, but they’re wrong! Totally wrong! This is the standard. A 28 day close!!?! Really?!?! But Bill made it happen. Bill and Al. They’re a monster team!

Finally, I’m a person who’s dependent on reviews. I literally will not go anywhere w/o viewing their stats (stats and reviews). If you’re like me, then you need to know what you’re getting yourself into. Please please, I beg you please!! Do not consider another realtor. Bill is one of the most upstanding, honesty, and hard-working men I’ve ever had to do business with. I’ve been in my beautiful home for a week and the guy literally texts me to make sure I’m doing fine and the move-in went well.

Who does that after commission?!?!
