Things were fine up until closing. Closing was sloppy and not well communicated. My closing cost went up over $1400 because the close date was wrong on the pre-closing packet that I was given 3 days prior to closing. And I just found out that appliances were NOT included in my renovation loan. Would have been nice to know prior to closing, what the correct closing costs were going to be for the actual close date, as well as know that I have to purchase appliances while the country is amid a tariff war.
