Just a warning to anyone out there thinking about renting any place from Jackie McBride of perfect pad Realty.

my son rented a place from her for four years the first year was a lease the next three were month to month. in that time anytime something broke weather it was the water heater or the actual well pump I had to fix stuff because she would take forever to fix things. my son did do one thing that he probably shouldn't have which was tear up the falling apart ripped nasty carpet and padding and just left the floors exposed as they were original hardwood floors. what should not have been a big deal anyways as she would have had to pull that carpet and padding up to replace it for someone else anyways. The trim in the house was also mismatched and in poor condition and he ended up painting it which probably wasn't the best idea in his part but the whole place looked a thousand times better when he was done which would actually help her to rent it.

then in December the drain started backing up and flooding the downstairs bathroom and basement she sent someone out who didn't know what they were doing said they'll be back in two weeks and never came back. her response was just try not to use water. then by December it had gotten so bad the basement is flooding and there were several inches of water in the utility room and the entire house including the outside smell like sewage. at that point what's when she finally sent someone out again to look at it told him again just try not to use water which basically means he cannot use any water in the house except for one bathroom that didn't drain into the pit that was overflowing. wasn't supposed to use the kitchen or the downstairs bathroom or the laundry evidently. she also decided at that time to tell him he had till the end of January to move out and then didn't bother ever coming back to fix it so the house as it stands right now still has standing water and sewage in the basement. also there is mold forming in the bathrooms and downstairs and nothing was done about that either.

I absolutely do not recommend her to anyone I have pictures of all of the flooding and back up sewage in the basement and be posting them on every Facebook site and every news site and reporting her to code enforcement

Very fair rent price but Jackie seems to always take her time to send people out to fix things wrong with HER property. For instance, our water heater almost blew up because she did not get the proper help to show up and fix it. She had someone come to reset the hot water heater, hoping to put a bandage on the issue. Fast forward a couple weeks later, our central air goes out and no cool air is blowing at all. We currently sit at 10 days since we have reported the issue and absolutely no results. Lucky it wasn’t a few weeks ago during the heat wave. Literally is 81 degrees in the house at the moment. I could go on and on about the issues in the house but the problem seems to be her attitude towards her tenants and the lack of caring about providing a good living environment. Would never recommend to anyone I remotely like !!!

Update: At almost a full 3 weeks later, we are sitting here in the same place as the prior message. Absolutely no results. A good human being would offer a solution or deduct rent but Jackie is just not that. Please do not consider this “lady” as your future landlord! Now, watch this terrible person try to justify why they are a terrible landlord below 👇 👀

My experience met expectations at least and exceeded at best. I'm going to give it five stars to offset some of these nasty reviews. Was the place I rented perfect? No but it was 120 years old. Issues were handled promptly when asked and we were left well enough alone. Jackie was nice in person and seemed to know what she was talking about. We needed a spacious place to move to for a year that had a good parking situation and was near pfw and that's exactly what we got.

I recently had the pleasure of finding a terrific apartment in a great neighborhood. From the start Jackie was straight forward and helpful. She was easy to talk with and that was very refreshing. Her office personnel is Crystal ( sorry if I misspelled)and she was enjoyable to talk and is very professional and knows her "stuff". I look forward to my rental experience with Perfect Pad Realty. Btw the people I dealt with were very accommodating and that's why you cannot believe every thing you read.

For the last 16 years I've been renting through Perfect Pad Realty. All the staff are all super polite!! I recommend Jackie McBride because she has awesome trouble shooting skills and always makes sure that maintenance gets done in a timely manner. Throughout the years, Jackie has always kept my home functional and comfortable.🙂 Thank you Jackie and staff!!

used to rent an apartment that jackie had taken over from previous landlord. had nothing but good experiences. anytime something broke, i had gotten it fixed the next day or within a few days. including when someone tried to break into my house and kicked my door in. got it fixed the next day. would 100% recommend perfect pad to everyone i know.

i would not recommend perfect pad, jackie was very rude to me and my roommate touring an apartment. the apartment was small and not renovated or well taken care of either. after requesting my bank information (routing and account number) and going through each individual purchase we’ve made, she then proceeded to tell us that we were unfit and couldn’t afford the apartment, which we were more than capable of doing (especially with both of our income and the low price of the apartment). not sure if it was a discrimination act (we are POC) or if perfect pad is just scam. safe to say that this agency is sketchy and i wouldn’t trust or recommend renting from them.

Jackie McBride, owner of Perfect Pad, sold us our home and we couldn't be happier. As we had to come in from out of town, she worked her schedule around ours. We never felt rushed and she offered helpful advice on danger signs to look for when looking at houses.

We asked her to close on a house and she let us know immediately, with photographic evidence of mold that had grown in the house since we had looked at it. She helped us void that offer.

Jackie also actively searched for a house that would meet our selective preference in style, size and lower price range. She had a sense of urgency when it was needed but was not pushy. I never felt that she was working for a commission.
