I am sharing this detail as a current resident who is extremely irate about the fact that some resident had dropped and left a bag of used cat litter in front of my building. It reeked of cat pee and feces and this is unacceptable. I should not have to see this, moreover I should not have to pick this mess up but I cannot stand the smell or the look of this. Whoever this management is renting or selling to needs to ensure that the tenant will uphold the same common decency that I have for mine and the other buildings.

This is easily the worst apartment complex I have ever stayed at. You cannot order any packages to the complex, because they will be stolen. There are no cameras in the parking lot, or in any hallways of the buildings. Obviously this is a huge safety concern - and enables people to steal everyones packages. Along with this, they allow a towing company to come in and tow cars that have expired plates. I have never lived in an apartment where this was allowed. The hallways are creepy and constantly smell dingy and like mold. The apartments themselves claim to be updated and well cleaned, but this is incorrect. If you are looking for a clean and safe apartment complex, this one is absolutely not it.

Don't rent here (Porte Deleau Condominiums) unless you willing to throw away more than half of your security deposit. Whether you clean it or not they will charge you for carpet cleaning, apartment cleaning, repainting, etc. These guys charged me $3 for actual light bulbs. While they ate about $700 bucks of my deposit, I had to wait 6-8 weeks to receive it.

Please read the fine print. If I had of known of these reviews I'm seeing here, I would have never rented there. The tennis court they claim is not fixed and pool is disgusting.

One of my concerns is that there are no cameras in the entry ways. But they put a sign near the garbage dumpsters "claiming" video surveillance. You mean to tell me you're more concerned about what trash is being thrown away than the safety of the people going in and out of the buildings 🤔. Furthermore, I am a pet lover. But It specifically says NO PETS on the property... however I've seen at least 2 pets here and have heard a barking dog in the building. Can I get a pet then? 🤔. Other than that, nice sized apartment, with plenty of storage space. Like the fact that each floor has its own laundry room and each apt comes with a huge walk-in storage closet . Also Seems quiet for the most part.

DO NOT RENT AT PORT DE LEAU. My family has lived here for 5 years. Both Rencon Management and Maple Management have refused to fix/ replace 30 year old kitchen appliances. I have a stove that has caught on fire twice and electric burners that spark and smell when used. I also have an outlet that sparks, the wires were eventually replaced, they were completely burned. After the new wires were installed it still sparks. I have asked in writing several time for the issues to be fixed and I get ignored. Jim Mecha at Maple Management seems to have no concern for my family’s safety ( I have two small children) and he only wants to know when we will be moving out. Also, if you have kids I do not suggest moving here because you may have a neighbor like mine who will call the cops 2 times a month, every month, for any noise a 1 and 4 year old may make. Sometimes they are not making any noise and we get accused of setting fires, doing drugs, and causing domestic disturbances. DO NOT RENT HERE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT RENTERS ONLY OWNERS!!

Management doesn't seem to care much for their tenants, unfortunately. Quite a few things have been broken and promised to be repaired since the day I moved in. I repeatedly brought this up to the main office but this accomplished nothing. Also noteworthy, there is no recycling anymore. Very Disappointed
