TLDR: fraudsters.

Had them for years, never filed a claim. When I had to change information after a divorce it was like pulling teeth to get them to remove my ex. Also, years after the divorce, when exiting my policy they made the reimbursement check out to me and my ex. They refused to change it even though there was no legal contest for her. Banks wouldn't touch it, even with her signature. The lead agent suggested I take the check to a CheckNgo. It took weeks to get them and Erie to send the check with only my name on it. It took me asking them if they are accepting of fraud as a solution. That made things move quickly. Not once did they apologize for any of their screw ups. The right person will find them out.
