I can't say enough great things about me and my husband’s experience working with Griffin. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure that our home buying process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. My husband and I were not confident we were financially ready to buy our first home - Griffin went through personalized finance goals with us and gave us a plethora of options for home loans available to us.

If I could give Griffin 10 stars I would! When I first connected with Griffin to talk about my numbers, thinking that I was nowhere ready to purchase my own place (not alone with one income at least) I just wanted to see what goal I needed to set and how FAR I was from being qualified.. to be completely surprised that I WAS able to do it. After being qualified, I found a place that I fell in love with. Moving at such a fast pace, Griffin was right by my side to help with everything I needed in order to get all the funds lined up and ready to go. He made sure I submitted all documents needed; kept up with all my bank statements, employment documents & requirements, 401k loan process, etc. (the list goes on because I put in an offer so quick and had my funds at different banks). Griffin came highly recommended to us from our realtor and, after working with him to purchase our first home, we definitely understand why!

As FTHB, we were very new to the lending process, but we wanted to put our best foot forward and still purchase within our means. Griffin was an amazing person to walk us through understanding various aspects of lending: pre-approval vs underwriting, escrow and gift letters, rate locking and float down. He was incredibly responsive the entire time and had great insights into the market; even as we were weighing other lenders, we came back to Griffin and All Western Mortgage simply because the caliber of service was a head above the rest.

Not only was Griffin knowledgable, he was also kind and incredibly mindful of the clients we were: FTHB, children of immigrants, young couple, not wanting to overextend. He took all of this in stride when we talked about how we could best structure the loan when submitting offers. He kept our estimates up to date and sent us sample estimates of how our mortgage would look if we were to submit offers on homes we were keen on. When we did get an offer accepted and locked in our rate, the official loan estimate was not far off from what we had already seen in our history of working with Griffin — which is AWESOME! The consistency was incredibly reassuring; there was nothing that we were overly concerned about because we had talked through nearly every scenario! I think that speaks to the breadth of experience and advising that Griffin provided us.
