I usually have the best experience, but lately coming in has been different. I came for a new debit card on an acct I didn’t have one on and instead the teller cancelled my active card and gave me a new debit card for the wrong account. Now I’m stuck tryna refigure my bills and it’s so irritating 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 this has been the biggest inconvenience I’m disappointed.

Stole our money and charged us overdraw. Was checking account balance when I saw a fraudulent charge of over $200. Called and told them it was someone else. It was still pending when I called but they did not bounce it. Then they charged $30 for overdraw fees from the charge. Went in and tried to replace card but said I needed $5 for a new card. They said I didn't have it because of the overdraw from the fraudulent charge. Will change banks as soon as possible and if you are thinking of opening an account here DONT. It's been over 4 months and they have not reimbursed me.

I feel like their general services and policies are great, however, expect to wait in line up to 30 minutes for a teller to become available. Even with 4 tellers who appear to be working efficiently, i always end up waiting. This is a very popular bank and could benefit from a larger physical location and some additional staff.

I’ve been banking a Loooong Long time.
6 years ago I discovered RWCU, I’ve never experienced a bank or credit union like the Redwood credit union in Ukiah.
It is a dream come true.
They make me an my whole family feel special.
The Team at RWCU is so friendly and always accommodates us,
I have gotten to know them all pretty well and now we are on first name bases.
I appreciate everyone who works there so much.
It’s like a family.

This is my honest review:
I was referred to RCU from a good friend. I have to say RCU has always been so helpful. I dont understand the bad reviews. RCU takes care of the customers more than any bank I know. I am very proud to call them my bank of choice. Everyone I have referred to them loves them also, 12 people in total and all referred and all are very happy.
If your looking for the best bank around this is definitely it. They always help when needed. I appreciate RCU and all the people you help.

I called redwood credit union because I was interested in purchasing a vehicle that they currently hold a lien on in a private sale. The difficulty of the paperwork involved in purchasing a vehicle in a private sale aside, my phone call was answered by Cecilia who was immediately snippy with me when I was unfamiliar with the process of how to get them to release the lien with the title sent to me instead of the current registered owner. It was disappointing to be met with frustration from someone while trying to gather information in an already difficult process. I can't provide any commentary on how the credit union is as a bank, but if my current bank treated me the same, I'd be looking elsewhere.
