I was referred to this insurance company for home insurance when I was buying my house. I received a quote and paid for the full year upfront. However, when I followed up on my policy, I discovered it had been canceled in December. I never received any notification because the company supposedly “mailed” a letter to my previous address, not my new one. Since I had moved, I forwarded my mail but did not receive the letter at my new address.

I requested a refund, and the company issued a check to my previous address TWICE, despite providing my NEW address to both the assistant and billing department. They also informed me that it typically takes a month to process and issue a stop payment on the check, so this entire time I have been waiting patiently and haven’t received anything.
