Got an auto policy, wound up with 2 policies being double billed. I contacted them to correct it 12/19 they canceled the duplicate policy and supposedly issued a refund. It’s 1/7 and no refund was received. I called and they said they mailed a check and have no way of knowing what happened to it. They are having to contact corporate to investigate my refund of over $300 and I am getting nothing but 🤷‍♀️.

Why they didn’t just refund the card they billed us beyond me or credit the existing policy. Why they can’t verify the paper check they mailed to me hasn’t been cashed (and if it has it was because they sent my money to someone it doesn’t belong to) is beyond me.

I wasn’t happy with Progressive or Geico, but somehow Allstate is the worst one.
