I saw Sarah to establish care as a new patient and this was the first office that actually listened to what I had to say instead of just rushing me through their check boxes. The front desk followed up with me and answered all my questions and got me scheduled for what I needed promptly and they prepped me for what to expect so my visit was quick and smooth. They got me in and out on time, and addressed all my needs in one visit. It was great!!

My initial provider at this office was great, but he relocated during the pandemic. Afterwards I was handed off to another provider in the practice who also soon relocated. Following that, I was passed off to a PA-C , Brock Venman, who did not seem interested in treating me. The young physician’s assistant asked no questions about my life or lifestyle and was quick to assign severe diagnosis without knowing much of my medical history or background. The final straw was jumping straight to gonorrhea or HIV when I came in for a sore throat and ear during cold/flu season. There were no questions regarding sexual activity or history, or any interest in whether or not I was in a monogamous marriage. He ordered a test for mononucleosis, and I received a call a few days later to confirm it was negative. No one followed up after that. I was and am HIV negative, but only found out after being tested elsewhere.

The admin staff is usually rude or behave as though you are a problem, not a patient. There is an absurd check-in vs appointment time policy: You must arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment time, and any tardiness in the period that is your check-in time will not be tolerated. I arrived 2 minutes late for a check-in and was forced to reschedule the appointment to a later time. This was still 13 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and the waiting room was empty. The receptionist was almost gleeful to inform me that I was late and would need to ask “if they can squeeze you in”. Again, this was thirteen minutes before the actual appointment.

When calling to inquire about an appointment admin will sometimes encourage you to “go to a specialist” or urgent care before making the appointment.

Unless there is drastic change in management and administration I absolutely cannot recommend this office for any healthcare needs.

Very great service overall from the start of my visit until the end. Front office was very polite and helpful, I was seen within minutes that I arrived to my appointment. My appointment was with Natalie Marciales and she did great explaining everything in detail. I highly recommend if trying to set up an appointment as a new patient!

I usually never write reviews, but I had my first appointment today and this office went above and beyond for me! I found them on google and called last week. The receptionist was helpful and friendly and they got me in fast. I arrived to my appointment, filled out some paperwork, and was taken right to a room. I saw Brock Veman for a check up and he really took time to get to know me and everything about my medical history. Overall a great experience!

This was one of the best doctor office experiences I have had in my 82 years on this earth. The young man who helped me to the restroom during my time of need was extremely compassionate and professional. I think his name was Jerry? My Doctor Sara was very helpful and professional as well and if I ever need more care I will be sure to come back to this place.

It feels like any other medical facility. What is your name? HOW ARE YOU AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY US (your insurance) are the first two questions. Made an appointment for a problem ($$). Got some test done ($$). Results are back but need to make another appointment to talk about results and treatment plans ($$). After treatment make a follow up appointment ($$). Do test to see if treatment worked ($$). I have been coming to this place for 15+ years and it seems less friendly every visit. No one really asks are you feeling better then last time we saw you. Seems like general staff are trained to talk about payment. I do understand a payment for service is needed. Today’s conversation was there is an unpaid bill that will go to collections if you don’t pay. The bill is 16 days old. 16 DAYS! Is this the medical industry new standard? A while ago wrong tests were ordered so I had to pay for the wrong test. They blame the lab and the lab said they can only do what doctor ordered. I thought it was about the well being of people but sure feels more about money…

East flag family medicine is awesome. Natalie Marciales PA is so great and attentive to your needs. Really recommend her! Staff is so nice and answers any questions you have.

I highly recommend seeing Natalie Marciales, PA. I live in Phoenix now, but she is such a great PCP that my family and I have stayed on as her patients and make trips up to see her. She is very kind and affable. She has a rheumatology background, and she is always open to investigating new ways to help her patients. She does not judge, and she doesn’t brush off concerns. She’s patient, and always takes time to answer any questions. Overall, I’d say that East Flagstaff Family Medicine is an excellent practice.
