I rarely write reviews, but my experience with this property agent—Steve—was so shockingly unprofessional and since I see his behavior obviously common for him hence the other reviews i feel compelled to warn others!

I had genuine interest in viewing a beautiful property listed through their agency. Over the course of several days, I submitted multiple inquiries via the website’s “Request a Tour” button and followed up with text messages. Each time, I received an automated response stating, “Hi, your message was sent to our [property address] team and you’ll hear back via phone or email.” I patiently waited, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but heard absolutely nothing back since Wednesday.

By Saturday at 10:45 AM, I decided to call directly and was unfortunately connected to Steve. From the moment he picked up the phone, he was rude, dismissive, and condescending. I was nothing but polite, simply explaining that I was interested in viewing the home and hadn’t received a response after several attempts. Rather than showing any interest in helping, Steve snapped that “all that is done through the website,” and dismissed my explanation that I had already done that multiple times with no follow-up.

He then told me he was driving and “couldn’t help me,” and proceeded to argue with me—claiming I must not have submitted anything, that their team had been answering requests all week, and questioning whether I even checked my email (yes, I did—thoroughly). Finally, he said I should “just request it again” and he might go back and look at it. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to help a serious and interested potential buyer.

It’s truly a shame, because the home itself is stunning and I was genuinely excited about it. But if this is the level of respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy Steve shows during a simple inquiry, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to work with him throughout a transaction.

Potential buyers beware: if you’re looking for someone who values your time and treats you with even a shred of professionalism, keep looking.

It’s very clear they only care about the landlord with no regard for tenant experience. I understand the landlord has final say but even after multiple requests to get the AC fixed, it never actually was fixed. Just “bandaids”. The only way it was livable was because the Phoenix summer ended.

Additionally, you will not get your deposit back. Yes it’s the landlord “staying within the law” but we received about 10% of our deposit. They claim they pick “middle of the road in price” with their contractors. Over $500 in replacement blind slats, the long white cheap ones that are $30 a pack? $490 for touch up paint of holes made for hanging pictures? Either they are getting ripped off or they are taking more than necessary from the deposit.

I understand general cleaning fees and removal of trash/ basic repairs. I did not expect the whole deposit back but for tenants who were NEVER late in rent and gave them virtually no issues during our lease, it’s a shame they wouldn’t advocate for us to receive a fair return in our deposit with a house we left in very good condition.

I just had to take a moment to express my appreciation for COR property management. Steven and Jennifer make an incredible team and are an absolute joy to collaborate with. Their professionalism and expertise are top-notch, and they always prioritize client satisfaction. What truly sets them apart is their availability - I've never had to wait long for a response to my emails or calls. Their knowledge of landlord-tenant rights is impressive, and it's a huge relief to have them handle everything. I initially had no idea how to navigate being a landlord, but they've made the process seamless. Their pricing is fair, and they never try to squeeze extra fees out of you. I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a dedicated company to work with. Thank you for everything you do!

I sent an inquiry and received a generated email in response. That’s totally fine. I decided to call to speak with Steve and schedule an appointment for showing and discuss qualifications. He was bothered that I called and said “I don’t know maybe my wife emailed you” I then asked when I can schedule a showing and his response was it had to be through email. No problem, however I just told him that there was no email. I was trying to be nice and said that I’ll just wait for the emails. No follow up calls, no emails, nothing. Thank God we didn’t move forward with this company. It was such a weird conversation. I can only imagine how he would be while doing an actual transaction. I hope the owners read these reviews and realize they’re not placing their homes with the right people.
