We have NO idea what that one negative review was all about. Not a single thing that reviewer said was true in our experience with TBI.
We just sold our 21 year old landscape construction and maintenance company with Eric Erickson and TBI, and the entire experience was exemplary. They responded to our calls and e-mails promptly, developed a perfect financial analysis of what our business could be sold for, and found us very highly qualified buyers who not only offered us 98.5% of our asking price, but also gave us everything we asked for in the terms and conditions for our sales contract.
Also, even though my business partner and I have science and engineering backgrounds, and we were both Project Managers in our previous careers, we found that selling a business like ours was far more complicated than we anticipated, and we never would have gotten the price or terms we wanted without TBI's guidance. Trying to go this alone would have been a nightmare.
Eric gave us sage advice on how to approach the negotiations, how to work with the new owners during the transfer process, and guided us through the whole sales experience with aplomb. We were very impressed. They come highly recommended!

These brokers are deeply unserious. They don’t answer their phone, they don’t accept voicemails, they don’t return emails, so to no one’s surprise - none of their listings move. You’re better off contacting sellers directly if you actually want to put an offer on a business. I wondered if this was an Arizona issue, but we had a significantly better experience dealing with the teams at WCI, GoldStar, etc. Huge bummer since Tucson is such a great city but these brokers aren’t very good stewards of the name.
