If I had to describe Kerri in one word, it would be “trooper“. Closing had so many steps and delays and Kerri was always there to walking me through and find a way for it to all be okay. Kerri and her team were AWESOME!!!
Our first meeting with Kerri was very reassuring. We (Kelly & myself) knew absolutely nothing about the VA Loan process. Kerri reassured us that it could be done in 30 days!!! I found that hard to believe, but we trusted Kerri to make it so.
She was very professional. She treated us with respect & showed a lot of patience.
Unfortunately the seller's Son had his own agenda, and laid a series of I.E.D's as an attempt to sabotage the process. His mission was to make sure we failed. He told me at one point, he had a California buyer who would pay twice as much as what his Dad wanted for us.
Another battle erupted between the seller's son & real estate agent. It quickly became extremely nasty. Another I.E.D that delayed and almost destroyed our dream.
After a few weeks of watching testosterone raging wanna be alpha males, throwing derogatory barbs at each other. Kerri took charge of the situation, acting like Alabama's Head Football Coach Nick Saban, getting the two out of control unruly character's attention & laying down the law.
She saved our dream of owning Heimo's home from going down the toilet. They both respected Kerri and shut up & proceeded to do the right thing.
After that everything went smoothly.
I never believed I would have an opportunity to own a home...It was an impossible dream that Kerri made it happen for us.
