I've always had the best customer service and great help from these people. My son teaches English in China and he opened up an account and they've really helped us get things set up for him. Greatly appreciated

This bank tried to save money on IT by upgrading its entire software system in two days. They canceled every account holder's ATM and debit cards, but OOPS! forgot to mail replacement cards ahead of time! These pictures are the line of hundreds of people trying to get access to their money. Phone lines totally down. Totally unprofessional and incompetent management.

I have a loan with them and in order to make a payment. I have to make one transaction into its savings account they automatically set up, then wait 1-2 day to clear. Then make the the payment and then maybe it will hit the account with in 1-2 business days. Such a waste of time and why so many actions just to make one freakin payment. Or pay an extra $10 fee to make a payment over the phone. I would avoid this credit union unless you like to make you monthly payment process to last 4 days or pointlessly pay $10.

Our experience with Animas Credit Union has been good so far! We left Wells Fargo and decided to go local. We are happy with our choice. The customer service is great (although a little slow in drive through) and their online system works well too. They are easy to communicate with if I suspect fraud on my debit card (which has only been once and there wasn't actually fraud). The only complaint was that we had to wait until the END of our expiration month on the debit card before we got new ones, which meant I had to wait to change my subscription payment methods to some stuff until the very last minute. Just more work for me but everything ended up fine after I got the new card.

For some reason, Sandia Labs would much rather repo a vehicle, sell it at auction, and risk not getting all the money back, than they would letting the borrower sell it themselves

You'd think they'd be willing to do that. They'd get all their money back sooner rather than later. They wouldn't have to worry about contacting attorneys to sue the borrower for the left over money...

All I can think is that the people over at SLFCU loss mitigation are really a bunch of sadists who get some sort of thrill over watching people squirm

DON'T GET AN ACCOUNT HERE. Really terrible. I was a member here with Animas Credit Union and never had any problems with it. They kept my account safe. Now since they switched over in July, 3 times someone hacked my account with multiple charges. I filed a dispute on 1 and then again for a different one the next week. I got money back for the 1st one and a month later went to check on it and IT WAS NEVER FILED!!! So I refiled it again. After that weekend on Monday my card was used again from CA. So that morning I went to the bank and waited an hour but had to leave to get my kids at school. I went back and had to wait an hour again, was so angry I left cause the kids were with me. I dropped them off at home 30 mins away. An came back to the bank and had to wait forever again. Will be closing this account and try Citizen bank.

Terrible customer service and no direct line to a representative to ask questions. I spent 15 mins in the lobby no greeting no friendly demeanor from staff not a welcoming establishment that is entrusted with financial support. No understanding of Eastern Navajo allottees. Have to jump through hoops to establish a bank account with them. If you want a NO I recommend this place. When is was Animas Credit Union it was different. Either the name change affected its reputation or the staff did.

As an account holder for 4 years I walked in because difficult times can hit us all. Inquired about a loan. As a credit union that you bank with, you would expect a certain level of help being a customer. Was told the computer would 100% deny it because of said “difficult times”. Soooo there’s no more human interaction with a so called credit union representative who would consider on a human level. I felt like a stat. “You don’t qualify according to our analytics” is what I heard. Ok cool, now I get all the negative reviews.
