The professionals who work at the Retreat at Westpark in Roseville have lots of patience in answering questions, listening to the concerns of the residents. They are very prompt in getting back with answers. Laura, Christina and Shannon are very kind and helpful abd solution-oriented. The support staff are also very professional and helpful.

Laura Young, GM for FSR-SAC at Del Webb’s The Club at Westpark, West Roseville is excellent. Since she arrived earlier this year things at The Club have gotten better.

She’s action-oriented, strategic, good follow-through, listens to our residents, supports and cares for her staff, works well with the Board for the betterment of the community, and has great leadership and design qualities. She’s very insightful and budget conscious. Her transition as GM for The Club has been seamless. As residents for 10 years, we are very pleased.

I am a homeowner at heritage Solaire in west Roseville. Brittany Velazco is our HOA general manager. She is a rock star Very sweet, always responds in a timely manner I can’t imagine putting up with a bunch of old folks that have nothing better to do but complain about something. If there was a term in the dictionary that says Best HOA manager, Brittany’s picture would show up. She is the best.

I attended Mother’s dat at Whitney Ranch this year. I don't have enough words to express how happy I was with decor, food, theme, fashion show, DJ, it was just superb! Loved the idea of having horse as the theme was Kentucky derby. Really liked the idea of inviting some vendors with beautiful dresses. 360 deg pictures idea was loved by all my friends. We all had great time!

Consistently, the absolute worst customer service experience that I have ever had the misfortune of being a part of. FirstService Residential has cured me from ever buying into an HOA community again. Emails fall on deaf ears and are seldom responded to without at least one follow up email. Talking to someone (other than an answering machine) is hardly a rewarding experience. I have never walked away from a phone call feeling that my issues are going to be addressed. Employees, in my experience, seem disinterested and un-empathetic to your concerns. I am dumbfounded as to how anyone can have a pleasant experience with this company. I long for the day that I no longer have to deal with FirstService Residential and they become a distant nightmare.

This company has been horrendous at their job. I've been dealing with an incredibly disruptive tenant next door to me for an entire year and this HOA has done almost nothing about her. On my first day moving into my home the neighbor stuck her head out of her unit and told me I better not be moving in here. She then told me she was going to shoot me and pushed a shopping cart she had near her door into the back of my truck, all while cursing and screaming at me. Naturally I called the police, but when they arrived she hid in her apartment until they left. Since then she has consistently screamed racial slurs and curse words day and night as loud as she can in here unit, she strung extension cords from the outlet by the breakers into her apartment, she shut the power off to the lights that line the parking area and she had two actual homeless people living on her patio. These homeless people constantly argued and yelled at each other, left trash everywhere, broke one of the windows and would harass and glare at me when I would come and go from my apartment. For months I called my First Service Residential rep to complain sometimes 4-5 times in a row until they would answer the phone. They would always give me the excuse "we're looking into it". I recorded this woman screaming with my phone several times and mailed them the SD card with those video files. And still nothing was done. I've spoken about this issue several times at the board of directors meeting and usually get very little info if any about what they are doing about this. Now they did contact the owners of the unit and had the homeless people and all of their belongings removed from the patio, but they still come back every day(apparently they have keys to the gates surrounding the complex, and the entry code to the main drive in gate). The rep for our community is always changing, it's always a new person. At one of the board of directors meetings the district manager for FSR was present and I explained the situation to him as well, he assured me that the problem was being dealt with, that was several months ago and still nothing has changed. It's going on an entire year since I've been complaining about how horrible it is to live next to this person and all the violations she commits, and FSR doesn't seem to care enough to remedy this issue. All of my friends and family can't believe that an HOA who are usually know for being strict and overbearing is turning a blind eye, or at the very least dragging their feet dealing with this person. There are plenty of other problem that they arnt addressing in the complex but to me the crazy lady next door is all I care about. Bottom line - DO NOT CHOOSE FIRST SERVICE RESIDENTIAL TO BE YOUR HOA!!!
