Our builder/developer hired AME in 2018 (?) to manage our HOA. AME is essentially a "one man band". It was apparent to all involved that AME's loyalties rested with the builder/developer not the homeowner's. As soon as the contract expired, we made the decision to replace AME. We found several deficiencies with AME starting with the fact that the Association monies were deposited in an account controlled by AME not the HOA. While there was no malfeasance, the potential for problems were significant. His service contract lacked detail relative to the services provided and the fees charged for the those services. (transfer fees) Even the simplest of requests (H.O. directory for 25 homes) seemed to be a hassle. There were also a couple of contractor relationships which lacked contracts describing services rendered. We are still struggling with a CCR enforcement issue that had it been addressed early could have been prevented. Communication and customer service skills could be best described as difficult and defensive. Even the transition away from AME could only be described as challenging. AME was just not a good fit for our HOA
