Amanda made the whole process so smooth and easy. Being small business owners and not qualifying for "conventional" mortgages, Amanda used her knowledge and expertise in self-employment lending to help us get qualified and closed on our new house. What can be said about cornerstone home lending that hasn’t been said about the wheel, penicillin or the iPhone? In a vast sea of disinformation and confusion there was beacon of light. And that was Amanda Filori. Like Batman waiting for a signal my wife and I recently moved to Juneau and whether it was assumed we couldn’t or weren’t prepared to purchase a home, Amanda saw potential. Even in the face of grumpy text messages and emails, sheer unwillingness to provide documentation, Amanda saw a way. “Am I expected to call this person?” “What do you need that for?” I would exclaim. Amanda and her crack team would get the deed done. Managing my every mood swing is no easy task and despite working in a technology heavy industry my ability to wrap my head around wire transfers was abysmal. But Amanda has done many, nary a routing number that can escape her gaze. She sees through title agencies like Superman’s X-ray vision, which is why when it come time to sell and buy again, Amanda will be our first choice
