I will not rent from these people they are the most unprofessional money hungry people I’ve ever met they do not care how you live they don’t come out and fix thing and when they do come out the maintenance team that they do send out will let you know upfront that these people do not care about their homes and they do not want to put any money into their homes. I lived there for about 2 1/2 years paid my rent on time never had a late fee or anything when I moved in floor was messed up. They told me they will fix it once I moved in the changed over and I had to email couldn’t NEVER speak to a human there is no number to speak to nobody It was a rodent issue and I explained to them they The exterior was the issue and it needed to be fix. They never fixed the issue every time someone got sent out the would do quick fixes never fixed the issue correctly my ceiling fall in about 5 times cause that was never fixed right I have picture of everything and emails of how the deal with you in situations that they only can fix if anybody would like to see it.The house was a horrible bizarre mess. I have never lived like that in my life and I am a great tenant American Ave was a night mare for me and my 2daughters . I was going back-and-forth with these people about these issues and have nothing been resolved I decides to move out after I hired my own exterminator and the exterminator sent a report and I have those as well if anybody want to see them I also called the health department as well that how bad it was it was black mold in the basement that they painted over as well that house was a night mare it was 3023 Gilson Str nice neighborhood well my car got broken in about 6 times or more while I was there so it’s not that nice of a neighborhood but it might look nice on the outside but I wouldn’t dare rent from them again. I am Waiting to see them In court they chargers be all this chargers I can show yall that to before renting from them I would move in a shelter I’ve never had a bad review as a tenant in my life until I met them and they gave me know choice but to break my lease I refuse to live with rodents. I add a few photos if anybody have any questions I am available to answer them all I have emails as well if anybody wants to see them.

Been without heat for four days. This is the fourth time this has happened in 2 months. Even in the summer air conditioning breaks down. AC I can live without but heat is needed. These are the temps since 3:30 am. They gave me a space heater lol we also put in almost 30 work orders since we been here

Update do not rent through this company we paid 200 dollars to get house clean to get deposit back and now they trying to charges us another cleaning fee these people is scam and avoid them by all cost and they very racist towards black tenants so if you black they go denied you . Also look at prior reviews it not just me and Please remember what happend to those poor kids Smith 6 due to these landowners not keeping up homes!! He telling lies I came correct and i stated I was not a tenant Renters beware First and foremost I am a law abiding citizen that also a caregiver for my father although I do not rent from them I pay my baby mother rent each month have done it for years and we on and off due to my busy caregiver life I’m not never home due to traveling to hospital monthly out of the city but she have never been late on rent ever. So she had me check a new property that she rent through after I told her this business got shady reviews but anyhow to make a long story short first week in property my baby mother home almost caught fire because they did not clean the dryer that came with home so it was smoking I went up there immediately after irate because paying 1650 fir 1500 feet of home should not have these problems first week and we not on section 8 so why did the owner Rob lying saying I threatened him all i said was di not want my kids to end up like the Smith 6 kids due to there neglect matienceing now he try to illegal kick her out due to his lies because I’m a black man who had the right to comfort situation were my kids living because my baby mother scare because of this reason him trying to be shady and kick her out even though she never been late or been to any home we have rent Please do not deal with them sincerely I will be contacting my attorney because my paper long and he got wrong family and he worry about me and my lady arrangements which is highly illegal sorry sir no drug dealer here just did what i had to do in life time be comfortable which is work my finger to the bone please people he respond because he is wrong and try to use my race as a way to say I was acting aggressive if I was white this would of never happend he automatically assume i was be aggressive and slam the door in my face so i was irate but i never threatened nobody Lynn Coleman got my back and my community and church as well so God bless you brother

I've been renting through American Midwest Realty for over 2 years now and I can honestly say that I would highly recommend going through them when it comes to renting/buying a home. They keep great communication and they're very transparent with details on the home you are in. Most importantly they have always worked with me whenever I had problems with paying rent on time. The ladies in the office are also really sweet.

I have rented from this Company for more than 4 years and have never had an issue. They always work with their tenants, are professional, and actually care for their tenants. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue (only 2 times in over 4 years) it was handled quickly.

Bad property management !
Company will not put their tenants as priority!
They will move tenants in knowing homes will not pass code enforcement. American Midwest Realty property had not constructed or maintained properly their fences fell on my yard. Yet their responsive was less than helpful. Beware all they want is your money and scam people with poor housing !!!!

Rob and his team were extremely helpful throughout the process and I ended up getting a fantastic house that I’m extremely happy with that was very well-maintained and put together and clean!! I would definitely recommend their team to anybody looking to rent a house in the area

I have lived in one of their houses for several years now and its been an absolute pleasure. It's a great place for a reasonable price and I love working with Rob and his entire staff. 5 stars!
