Anthony is simply amazing!! Brings in 20+ years of experience in mortgages. Anthony has access to loan programs most lender's don't and can close deals most lender's can't. Amazing service and rates!

I started home shopping in March. I found a place and my realtor recommended Anthony. He ran my superficial numbers and said I would not be able to get a loan for what I wanted (~$200k) and asked for my significant others details to see if we could buy together. On receipt of that he called my SO and addressed him a few times by the wrong name and repeated that we couldn't have the home we wanted and we should think smaller as we were looking at an APR of >6%. That's when we parted ways and I found someone who got me exactly what I wanted plus discounts at an APR of 3.6%.
I let all of the above go until today, November, because I received an email from Anthony:
"Hey Ashleighanne... It's Anthony Alvarez!
We helped you buy your house a while back and I was looking over some of your paperwork.
I think you might be able to lower your monthly payments. Do you have time to talk really quick?"
Obviously this is a marketing email (that I didn't consent to) and it seems he's not just disorganized when it comes to calling people by their names, he's sending these emails to people who didn't work with him. I replied by elaborating on that and asking him to not contact me again. Then I received a text with the same message. So now I'm leaving a review to hopefully save someone else from a headache.
A good financial advisor and/or mortgage broker should look at you as a whole person, not a stack of documents and numbers. They should work with you, not insist that you're doing the wrong thing. I did not get that with Anthony J. Alvarez.
