As we were headed to Baja I had time to contact a few Mexico insurance options. The first company I contacted, my first impression was I would pass on it and try one other option, they were also suggested to us by our current car insurance. My second call was to Baja Bound, and Michelle picked up the line and all is history. The simplicity of the contract went seemingly well and we sealed the deal with Baja Bound.
On our trip home after 3 weeks in Baja we stayed at Valle de los Cirios at a hotel where we met Hank the founder of Baja Bound. Hank was such a pleasure to meet and hang out with, we are so happy we went with Baja Bound not only for the ease and sound solid policy but also meeting Hank.

I’ve used them for years and it’s always been quick and easy to get our insurance when traveling to Baja. I’m reviewing now because I just had one of the best customer service experiences ever. We had gone to Baja last week for the day and on the drive I got 24 hour liability coverage for our car. A couple days after getting home Angela from Baja Bound emailed to see how the trip went and I emailed back great but I had forgotten that we have a yearly policy as drivers in Mexico until Jan 2025 when I purchased the insurance for the day-duh! Angela checked with the insurance underwriters, explained the situation and they refunded what we paid for the day. It wasn’t even on my radar to try to get a refund, I told her because I had thought it was funny that I’m such a knucklehead. It’s really, really refreshing to deal with someone who is so conscientious and diligent about their job. It’s so rare people actually do their job effectively much less going above and beyond like this. Thank you Angela and Baja Bound for your service!

I was going on a three day trip from San Diego, Ca to Ensenada and San Felipe, Baja California, MX and needed motorcycle insurance. A friend of mine told me about Baja Bound Mexican Insurance, which turned out to be super easy to purchase. Their coverage was very reasonable for the price I paid. All of the documentation was emailed to me immediately after the purchase. Thankfully I did not have to use it, but their service was excellent. I would purchase again.

You cannot beat the convenience and price. We drive vehicles into Mexico all year. Some stay for months. We buy annual policies 95% of time. We run a non profit serving the poor on the Baja peninsula. Baja Bound is the best.
