Towed! I work for an Engineering service that oversees the particular construction that is taking place currently, I parked near the alley approximately 100 feet away from where the crew is working for 19 minutes so that I could perform my job duties. There were 11 open (unoccupied) parking stalls at this time. Poorly marked parking lot that did NOT state that this is a “towing zone” As I noticed the tow truck hooking up to my vehicle, I addressed the situation and was told I would need to pay the impound fine of $205. J&S towing only accepts cash payments so that they can alter their revenue and not be required to pay taxes. I now have a different view on this company. Thank you for this ordeal that took time away from my job duties. I will be pursuing this.

Towed! This company lied to my face about them calling for a tow truck. Tow company proved they did. They said my car may have been stolen when they called. They failed to report the tow to the police, which made me think my car got stolen. This is illegal and unprofessional.

Oh Bison you are really horrible people along with JR’s towing who doesn’t know how to follow towing laws (we have them in IN, know your rights!), I made sure to complain to the attorney generals office. And nice new sign on the back entrance of the lot after my daughters car was towed (they way she entered), your lucky I didn’t get before pictures. Reading reviews looks like that’s all you people do is tow cars.

Thank you Bison Financial Group and JR Towing Service in downtown Lafayette, IN, for diligently watching over your parking lot. It’s comforting to know that your employees are on constant surveillance and quick to react by having any vehicle that accidentally parks in your lot after business hours promptly towed away. It was especially comforting after a long day of laying my sweet mother-in-law to rest. After a hard and emotional day of the showing, funeral service, and cemetery burial of my husband’s mom, my children’s grandma, and the best wife ever we stopped for a bite to eat downtown. Being from out of town, we weren’t sure where to park on a busy road that was under construction. Your well placed signage behind the large brightly colored ‘sidewalk closed’ sign was so easy for us to spot. It’s obvious that we were trespassing purposely since the parking lot was empty and the middle parking spots were not marked as reserved. We hope you both enjoy the $645 (cash only... but no change is given) donation we made to your caring and compassionate businesses. Used their empty parking lot during the pandemic, when everyone works from home and my car was towed. I was in that parking lot for maybe one hour. Bison's receptionist sounds like she knows nothing about my vehicle being towed, but did provide JR's Towing phone number. How heartless can you be!? They should have given me a ticket, a warning, something, but not tow my vehicle! I will never use their services knowing that don't care about people during difficult times!

I am honestly shocked about the entire situation that just took place...
I parked in THEIR parking lot and was in their store talking to an associate asking about 401k options, I was told everyone was currently tied up which is fine. I walk outside and my car is towed... I came back inside where the associate told me that I didn't have an appointment so a tag was not present in my car. Once I called the towing company they advised me to have an associate from Bison call to drop the fee.. I have called and spoken to them 3 different times where everyone is currently tied up and can't call in. I'm now stuck with a $140.00 tow bill while trying to do business with them. Its truly remarkable. very disappointing to say the least.
