This place promised to fix alot..Initially showed me 2 apartments. Came back, saw 4 more, picked my favorite. applied to the housing authority for THAT apartment. We showed up for the inspection and they gave my apartment away.. I CAN NOT help the time for the inspection.. saw a new one, with the inspector OBVIOUSLY it failed or I wouldn't be here.. passed next time, but promises where made to fix stuff.. here I am now almost 6 months later.. I initially went looking for the source of flying bugs few days ago. Looked at my lease... so let's start with the garbage disposal hasn't ever worked correct. And obviously bugs could form when a sink doesnt work. Let's say after 60 days of one side of the sink because I was told they where removing the disposal and didnt ever come back, I made it drain.. next. The state pays an extra I believe 20 a month for a dishwasher, that isnt USABLE. I never had water in it before. but today it "worked " pouring water on the floor. hahaha and please look at the pics. How is a dishwasher cleaning anything when everytime I open it. More crap wood from the countertop goes in it? At the minimum need a refund, yall sold it to slum lords. I'm not getting a security deposit back. And reduced rent to the housing authority for the rest of my lease.. next up. Bathroom vanity. I believe the source of the bugs.. I've seen them coming and going from the side of it.. idk I'll stop and just post pics. Plus how when I have federal assistance and only electric that i pay, do i owe all these bs fees...smgdh THIS is why people dont get deposits back

George is the most amazing maintenance man I’ve had!! He is very good with his work and also very kind. His communication skills are absolutely amazing!! I’ve dealt with other maintenance men here at my apartment complex and I have never had service as great as his!! He always makes sure to update you on all progress so that you see and understand what’s going on! 10/10 I highly recommend him!!!

Yesterday's move in was a nightmare. This Purdue unit had not been cleaned. The smell was horrible. Moldy AC unit with an inch thick of stuff in the air filter, mold in the bathroom, busted outlet, cracked/stained toilet seat and half of a toilet handle. The stair carpet is not attached and stepping on rusty nails poking through. I'd love to share 20+ photos but here are a few.

Glad to report a toilet handle and toilet seat was added. The boys got a lock on the door that matches the keys a few weeks ago. AND a dryer hose was added to the dryer. Also, the kitchen faucet was bolted down so water isn't dripping under the sink cabinet.

***Both moms & dads worked countless hours cleaning this place.

I wonder how much of our deposit they'll keep?

I love the maintenance guys anyone contracted with bk. They are fast and the friendliest. But we moved in, in January. It stated: Move in ready. It definitely wasn’t it. But everything was bandied. And slowly using things over time, everything slowly is breaking. We were just notified we have a $500 limit to fix things that wasn’t us or that was fixed cheaply that was due to break. What if we were to say well this month we only have 1,000 to pay rent. Little shady.. anything to make an extra buck. I’m in the wrong business

So far they just took over my property and been great immediately. I had an air conditioning problem last year and they were quick to fix it. They also aren't charging horrendous late fees like wilmoth did, over 1 day late. So far I am pleased with them and recommend them to anyone looking to rent from them.

Charge high rent for homes that’s not worth it. The homes will come with mold, tile peeling, rusted sinks & more and expect you to pay 1k or higher! They are very unprofessional as well they charge hidden fees, such as water bills or informing you about the mailbox key fee! They supposed to supply me with as a new tenant they rather send you to avoid paying it then act like they wasn’t informed about the fee it’s a scam!! They knew! They will also act like many people are interested in your unit to rush the process just to receive money! I would give no stars to these people I’m looking to sublease asap! I don’t no how they’re still in business!l just disgusting one of the properties had a dead mice at the showing. The desk people lazy & rude and would lie just to save them time. run don’t apply for them go to a better professional property management cause no one’s running BK ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY, NOT YOUR COMFORT! But they swear that’s what they’re about!! they are about MONEY!! & selling they’re unlivable properties to keep income coming for they’re paychecks! that’s all that matters!! don’t let the sorry google reply fool you! they no the conditions of the apartments after a tenant move out as well as showings! They don’t care for real it’s on you!!! And your stuck in a lease! please they need to stopped…! DONT APPLY HERE!! DONT STOP WHAT YOURE DOING IN LOOK ELSE WHERE! please save your self & money! can’t wait to end my lease! 🛑 ✋

The 5 stars are for kelden specifically! I've had a lot of bad experiences with BK management just trying to view their properties. The treatment was not good at all it made me think if this is how I'm treated before I sign a lease agreeing to give you thousands of my hard earned money I can't imagine what the treatment is like after. But I gave it another go round due to someone reaching out and apologizing and Kelden really saved the day with his kindness and professionalism.
