Purchased a new zero turn mower this year from Brown Co. Customer service was excellent and made the process very simple even though we live about 45 miles away. Charlie delivered the mower to us, showed us how to run it - really did an excellent job making us feel valued. Highly recommend this place.

Took a skid steer to them and after 2 months still wasn't fixed and actually was worse then when I dropped it off. They wanted almost 3 grand for messing it up. Talked to manager and did come to a compromise but will never do business with them again

I didn't know who to talk to when parked in the lot. The service manager did not hesitate to help me and point me in the right direction ( thank you again for your help)!! Then the salesman told more about the yard tractor that I was looking at and the price. I got a very nice unit at great price and will definitely tell anyone that asks to go to Brown Co. in Torrington. Thank you guys for customer service at its best.

Took our 4 wheeler to Brown’s and my husband told the mechanic that the fan motor was not working, thus causing to heat up on May 11th. Mechanic called us and said radiator needed replaced too so we said go ahead on May 12th. We finally were able to pick up yesterday May 29th and the bill was for over $2700.00. Replaced radiator due to poor circulation, replaced fan controller in radiator and engine block. Checked fan relay because still getting hot after all of that work and time and found fan circuit breaker bad so replaced. Now working. Labor $2003.45. We aren’t questioning cost on parts but the need for them as well as the labor! We brought the radiator home since it’s not leaking and has a couple fins that can be fixed with a screw driver and blown out with air compressor. Edited this review June 3rd. After visiting with Adele at Browns the labor was adjusted to 5 hours instead of 23.57. And check for $1719.21 was issued to us. Thank you Adele.

Purchased a low hour used swather -- was promised the machine would have minor repairs completed and be fully serviced and inspected. A month after the check cleared they dumped the machine off unserviced with a low tire, dead batteries, a hydraulic leak and non working A/C. Been like pulling teeth trying to get it made right. Don't trust anyone at the Torrington office and only go through wheatland if you buy something here.

I went to Brown Co. to deal with Jamie. I've known Jamie for a long time and trust her judgement and to be fair. She guided me in choosing the right model of Stihl trimmer and the right accessories to meet my uses. She tested the trimmer and showed me how to operate it. I probably wouldn't have thought to go to Brown Co. if I hadn't known Jamie would be there. Very friendly and yet professional in manner, she is an asset to the business.
