Update Feb 2021.... We've been back to Aaron for an additional 3 refinances since Dec 2019, each time for a lower 30 year rate! Yes 3, this year has been crazy with dropping mortgage rates, and we took advantage! We were able to save hundreds on our payments, and improve our retirement budget!

I'm happy to share my honest review of Aaron and his team. Angelica was also very helpful during this process. Yes, obtaining a loan is an extremely stressful process no matter what. I really appreciate Aaron's calm nature. His demeanor, reliability and even-keeled personality kept me reassured even when things got hairy. I believe that Aaron was able to secure a loan for me that other brokers promised to but couldn't deliver on. In the end it wasn't the ideal situation compared to what I thought I would be able to secure. But Aaron was honest with me all along and drew out multiple options of what to do and how to handle it in order to get me what I ultimately needed. I believe he has good relationships with reps at lenders and this is why he could make things happen for me that other brokers couldn't pull. I also appreciate his website and the straight forward, easy to manage interface of uploading docs, receiving and signing docs, and tracking the process along the way. Lastly, Aaron communicated with me via text message when that was what I needed for convenience, as well as email and direct phone calls. He was flexible and responsive. I would gladly refer him to others who are shopping for a loan or refi. He has the depth and breadth of knowledge for so many nuances that I am not fluent in and I could depend on him to explain it to me in ways I could comprehend. Yes, there were hiccups along the way, but I'd like to think that I can trust that they were not things that Aaron had control over. He did his best and any broker would have faced the same challenges. I appreciate you, Aaron!

I found Cali Mortgage by chance, on a Google search. I was impressed with all the positive reviews! I needed an experienced loan officer to help me with a complex loan that could easily fall through if it weren’t carefully handled; needless to say, I was very worried! Aaron was very communicative and that made all the difference! He let me know where we were every step of the way, and called me every day to give me updates and ask if I had any questions. In previous dealings with other loan officers I had felt uncertain with the process and left in the dark. When I came to Aaron, he reassured me he would get the job done and FAST! Ill be totally honest with my experiencing so much stress when into this whole process. It was wrong from start to finish, with no personal accountability from Aaron or his financial network. Multiple times I almost switched to another lender, but Aaron and his “charm” lead me back in (fake hope)(we will for sure get the loan approved) nothing happened like that end up LOSING MY HOUSE. I would never recommend this company, or American financial network. There are so many upstanding mortgage companies out there, and this is definitely not one of them Sorry.... one month later I got qualified with chase Bank and finally got my house...

Perhaps, Cali Mortgage shouldn't have made promises that they couldn't keep, or promise timelines that we not attainable. THAT is just not good business practice. THAT is a lousy bait and switch tactic to make a quick buck. Getting the LOAN amount WRONG is too big of a mistake to make when working on an already tight deadline. (
