I just moved in to one of their properties. I love my studio apartment. Good price, good location, great service. Estrella has been GREAT! She is so nice and sweet and she made moving in very easy. She was very helpful. Also Eric in the office has been very helpful and a very nice guy. Making contact with them has been very easy. I haven't had to leave a message or wait for anything! They always answer the phone if you call and are willing to help immediately. Thanks again guys!!

Really easy going, really liked how personable and friendly the leasing and office staff was. Prices very manageable and the home rented has great space for my family and is great affordable price. I definitely recommend trying this property group out. They try and go above and beyond and really make it a good experience for you.

The WORST experience I have ever had in my entire life. Toured my current home and Estrella promised the clogged toilet would be fixed by move in. It wasn’t. The day of the move in, our power shorted, the gas didn’t work, the toilet was so backed up a plumber had to come out (we only have one bathroom by the way) and then they never even gave us our keys. Left the lockbox on for almost two months while my boyfriend and I shared one key. They ignored calls, texts, and finally told us the owner would be taking over. They cannot handle this business and are not equipped to rent out homes. Our electrical is still shorting, our basement just flooded with sewage, and this house should have never been put on the market. We are paying $1250 to live in our neighbors filth, in the dark, thanks to Celisa. Rent from anyone else in town.

I must say from moving to fortwayne from a different city has been one crazy move until meeting the workers from celisa Properties. They went above and beyond to help us get into our home. They were very understanding and they worked with me and my family. and we were able to get moved in before Christmas. So instead of being homeless for christmas until we found a home we are moving in 5 days before.... I couldn't thank these hard workers enough as I shed tears right now typing thank you so much for all you have done to make this possible for us

Where do I start? We signed a lease in November. First time renters through this management company.
It has been nothing but a poor experience. We have serious bathroom mold causing health issues for our family. Verified by not only their sub contractor they sourced but also city code (along with a laundry list of other code violations).
Our garbage disposal has not been working for over a month which causing water to back up in the sink and makes it not fun to use our kitchen sink at all.
Carpet was trash among move in as you can see in the pictures. Over cut, stained and overstretched.
To top it all off the windows are rotting out and we have termites.
They got upset we called code and now want to "inspect" the house per their office lady who I must add is NOT a sub contractor and ought to be careful because i have time and date stamped pictures from move in.
I took 4 hours off work Friday for her to come and she never showed or called back.
Do NOT rent from them.
You will absolutely regret it.

Sued me to repaint the interior of the house I rented for over five years after I moved out, $75/wall x 28 walls. Was the $40k I paid in rent not enough? Celisa was the third property management company to have this house while I lived there, and they were definitely the worst. My kids broke a couple windows. I submitted a work order in September (among other requests). They still hadn’t fixed them by December when we moved out. They stalled every time I called, promised a call back that was never received, or straight lied and said they did call, but somehow my phone number in their computer was wrong. They didn’t try to fix a damn thing, just patch it or not show up at all. My best friend was also renting from them during this time. They patched a kitchen ceiling leak in her house after they ignored it for years and she had moved out. The new tenant moved in and found (surprise!) mold. After I moved out, they were quick to rehab the house and flip it for a significant rent increase. My friend had the same experience. Grimey property management. I would never rent from them again or recommend them to anyone.

Celisa took over management of the home I rent in July of 2021. There were initially lots of communication issues with the office staff. However, the past several months I have seen a huge turnaround and have been very impressed. Rachel is very nice and responds to questions and requests promptly. Kara is personable and friendly. The maintenance guy does an amazing job when he mows, it looks great. He also fixed a light in my closet and the one on my front porch light. Neither had worked since I’d moved in here in 2018.
I know there are several bad reviews on here but there are also a few positive ones that are starting to appear. From my experience Celisa has made huge strides in the way the operate recently. Communication is no longer a problem and they truly do seem to care about me and the property I rent. Don’t be afraid to give them a try.
