Chris and his team are responsive. When you call with questions they answer as soon as they're able. When you need to add or change cars or other things they handle it quickly. It's not always as fast as you'd like, but I have faith that in an emergency they'd be there. The reason for 4 stars is not Chris, it's State Farm. I guess as a Californian I'm lucky to have home owners insurance. It's just tough dealing with them when you have a claim. They're in it for the profit, as any business in Captolistic (now 2025 Oligarchy) America. You need to hire your own advocate when/if the time arises. They look out for themselves, you need to look out for you.

Tarek helped me obtain auto coverage with a reasonable premium. Since State Farm isn't taking new clients in California for homeowners/condo coverage (as is the case with many carriers) they referred me to a reputable agent who was able to obtain coverage for me with a different company. They exemplify excellent customer service.

I am beyond furious with the way I was treated by my insurance agent. I was guaranteed that my rate wouldn’t change and then it doubled. When I confronted him about it, all he had to say was, “There’s nothing I can do.” No accountability. No real explanation. Just a shrug and a complete lack of responsibility. This is unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional.
