This was my second loan with Churchill Mortgage. I worked with David Porter on my last one and he did such a great job that I called him up as soon as we were ready to purchase another home. I got the pleasure of working with David and Tim Powell on this loan. The process was smooth throughout. They were very knowledgeable and communicated well and often the entire time. Everything was ready before closing. I’ll be calling them when I’m ready to refinance for a lower rate. Superb customer service all around! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a Construction loan with this company, make sure you work with experienced loan officers. Otherwise, the process will take longer than it should.

Churchill...thank you for responding. A construction loan is very complexed as you stated. That is the reason for my comment. I believe my experience would have been different if I had experienced loan representatives assisting from the beginning.

Tim and his team were pretty good. Communication was poor. I was having to chase after them. I get they are busy and my loan wasn't that big. As a result of the slow process, I had to buy down some points even though in the beginning he told me I wouldn't have to. He said the reason is that too much time went by to close the loan. I'm still happy that I refinanced and got a pretty good rate but would've been even better if it didn't cost me additional for the slow response on their part. Would I use them again? Maybe.
