This is a great place to go, once a month. I have not had any issues with the staff. The lady at the front desk , did an awesome job. Just don't forget to bring an envelope with your name on it. I have gotten clothes here, and I am thankful. Sometimes the volunteers can get stressed out if it's a busy day! They all have been great, even a young man helps! Like any business or job, they might have certain dress codes. This is a non-profit Christian based organization, all volunteers! They do this in Love for their community.

All the workers there are very nice sweet and kind and very loving they help you and things when you need it there is only one problem which is the woman at the front desk she has always been snotty rude and I'm nauseous toward people and treats people badly and it seems to be tour people who have wacky hair colors piercings and tattoos I do not know why she treats people that way when she's supposed to be there to help people not treat people badly there was a girl who look like she was in her early twenties there with her mom and dad and baby girl that was 2 years old and the little girl was going through some toys and a box and the other worker when her mom says no no she says oh it's there for now for selfie I'll help yourself and she got snotty with that worker and the other woman because they were a little loud and everything and then she's been rude and snotty and her mom the father couldn't even pick out clothes for himself because she ran them all out the building and told them they can come back and the woman's not supposed to be getting snotty toward people she's supposed to be there to help I can honestly say that I loved the food pantry and I love all the workers but that one woman doesn't have to be so rude and snotty toward other people that's just uncalled for she even went as far as yanking a toy out of a little baby's hand making her cry making the mother cry and telling the baby's mom and when the baby's mom said she was getting her mother some pajama pants she goes screw your mom y'all need to leave now

I volunteered here for a little over a month and during this time it was constantly assumed by those running the place that I was a criminal that had community service mandated by the courts because I had tattoos and wasn't 60 something. Then one day I came in wearing my piercings (a septum ring) I was told that I would have to take the piercings out in order to serve my community, I refused to take them out and was subsequently asked to leave, ( because we cant have our clients be witness to someone with piercings) is what I was told. So I left. I have to admit that it did in fact hurt my feelings. Come on clothes and food basket, it isn't about the color of our skin, weather we have tattoos and piercings or what kind of car we drive, church we attend or how much money we have in the bank. It's about giving to our community and helping our fellow mankind.... Very judgmental hypocritical supposed Christian's running that place. Great place if you need help, but terrible place to volunteer if your not a cookie cutter blue haired retiree. I was denied the opportunity to serve my community based on my appearance, sad, very sad.
