Lisa was very unpleasant to deal with, she seemed dismissive and passive aggressive. She showed no signs of hospitality and it caused me to feel unwelcome. I will not be returning to this establishment until she has some sensitivity training.

I SOOO much love all the Dakota Boys Ranch stores in North Dakota. I frequent the Fargo ones, but when I travel to Grand Forks, I look forward to a change of scenery. Today I stopped by as it's been a few months. I was SHOCKED at the prices you had on nearly everything. What in the world?!

You had three red Christmas candle holders listed at $29.99 EA! EACH! I looked them up online, and I could have bought them brand new for less than what I would have paid there used. Drinking glasses for $6 a glass in your "non-antique" section. I don't know who is doing your pricing, but you might want to reassess some of this. I overheard a couple of ladies talking about how some things are still sitting on the shelves for months because the cost is too high. You get this stuff for free, and I realize you need to make money for your organization - but going to a thrift store is supposed to be fun and to find a deal vs going to the retail outlets.

It was honestly like shopping at Target/Amazon and if I can get it new for a few bucks more, I probably will go that route. Your prices are literally competing with new retail or a high-end antique shop where the environment/service is geared toward spending a bit more. The Goodwill Store is beating your prices considerably - which is frankly shocking because you all seem to have had the thrift game down and were superior in price point. Just had to share. I'll stop in again sometime, but if things are that inflated, it might be my last trip.

some one REALLY needs to do a ADA REVIEW of there handycap parking and entrance. half the time cant even get up on the side walk cus the ONLY ramp is in the corner and the handicap spot it self has the vehicle blocking the ramp and people park on the yellow loading zone and they do NOTHING about it.when i brought it up they said and i quote " people park like that all the time" STILL DONT MAKE IT RIGHT!!! and as far as the entrence the handicap buttons are TURNED OFF most the time. BUT once in the store decent its a environment. i cant speak on any restrooms, but the changing stalls are extremely small.

One of the employees here is rude beyond words! I purchased three items (two were the same price). I paid and left the store but realized I was overcharged when I looked at the items when I got to my car. I went right back in the store and explained that she overcharged me by ringing up 2 items at the higher price instead of 2 items at the lower price as it should have been. No more than 2 minutes had gone by since the transaction and there was no one behind me when I paid so I don't believe she "helped" anyone after me. It was like she had no idea who in the world I was! Then she removed my items from the bag and said "well where are the rest of the items?!?!" as if I was being dishonest. She begrudgingly gave me the money I was overcharged but not before making me out to be a thief when it was her mistake!

My wife and I are moving and I dropped off many items last week such as clothing (some even new with tags) and kitchen items in very good condition. How I was treated at the drop off point was unbelievable, almost like they didn't want the items. I had to repack some boxes because they did not have lids and then I was told I packed one box to heavy for them and I said they will need to repack it then like they made me do and the response I got is they will throw it away. I will be gifting any future give away items to a charity that truly appreciates them in the future not to the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Store !

Pretty good selection, helpful staff but prices have skyrocketed. Nonetheless still a good place to shop, especially if you're looking for books, furniture and clothing.
