We came in for a softball glove and couldn't find an associate anywhere in the store. Finally called the main number via cellphone and asked for assistance. The person on the phone was a bit short with me. An associate finally came to assist us but was in a hurry. We chose to purchase locally for the service and assistance but we really didn't receive that.

I contacted Dicks about a week or two after I bought a treadmill from them to inquire if it could be returned as my daughter wasn't interested in using it as she planned. They said no problem as it was still well within the return window. We brought the treadmill back into the store, they gave us a receipt stating the refund would go back on our card. It's been over 4 months at this point and we still have not received our money back and they have their merchandise. After several phone calls and in person visits, they claim that there is nothing that they can do about it. I am now out all of this money as well as the product itself. Absolutely terrible customer service and very unethical.

We went to Dicks sporting goods to purchase shoes yesterday. Three sales people were gossiping in the shoe department. Two older people in their 40s or 50s and one younger girl in her 20s. The younger girl walked away from the other two for a second. We asked her if she could find a shoe for us in the back room she said in a minute and then went back and gossiped with the other two. We found another sales person who was rude and unhelpful. We left the store and will spend our money at another store (not Dicks). I will not step foot in any Dicks stores again.

If you enjoy waiting for 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes with employees standing around chatting telling you they're "really busy," then this place is for you. We ended up walking out of the store after asking for help twice and not receiving it.

This is like the Costco of anything sports related, huge selections and very helpful staff, only knocked a star off cause it was hotter in the store than it was outside.

If they didn't want to turn on A/C it's understandable as the store is gigantic, but a few well placed fans would have been nice.

Anyone work here? Drove 40 minutes to buy shoes from here and stood around with 5 or 6 other people waiting for any employee to show up to grab the size we needed and ended up leaving because the only people there were cashiers. Lost at least 5 sales tonight. Waste of time we'll go to Scheels or DSW.

No one to help you. Over 15 people waiting to buy $100+ shoes and apparently an inconvenience to the store employees and management. But hey, they give you a computer interface to buy the shoes online while standing in the shoes section at the store. Apparently no one considered that we drive to the store for a reason and that we can order on phones and computers without a store.
