I owned an investment property that I wanted to sell it in order to buy a larger property. I interviewed multiple commercial real estate firms in the area and selected Diversified Commercial. I am happy I did. I worked with Mike Larson there. He was professional and helpful throughout. He sold my property at a good price and helped me do a 1031 Exchange. As a result I paid no taxes on the sale because the proceeds were invested in a bigger and better investment property which he helped me buy.

I had interviewed two different firms to represent the sale of my commercial real estate, Diversified and an unnamed group of younger gentleman. Mike was by far more prepared and professional upon arrival. He came in with printed comps, histories, sample sales sheets and ideas while the other group came in with iced coffees from Dunkin' Donuts. For obvious reasons I chose Diversified.

We had an insane road ahead of us. I was selling a turnkey restaurant with the only available liquor license in the city. That in itself was a lot, dealing with excise, the ATC, the state, the county, and all things tax related, he handled it all with ease and confidence (while I was a stressed out mess lol).

We received an offer from a restaurant group who later tried to get out of the contract because they changed their minds. Mike 100% went up to bat for us and ended up working out a deal with the buyer to purchase it empty (rather than turnkey) for 40k more than the other company I interviewed thought I could get turnkey. So, that was awesome!

The buyer's drama never stopped as they kept changing their minds and asking for things after and outside of the signed contract. Even at close when they showed up with $235 less money than owed 🙄. Mike was incredibly diplomatic with the buyer throughout all of this and always put my financial and personal interest first rather that what was easiest.

All in all I adore this company and hope you take this review to heart. They were there to deal with any and all issues that arose and always offer their best and most honest advice when I asked. They went out of their way to accommodate and understand that this sale was extremely personal and sad as my restaurant went under due to covid. Mike helped me turn this sad affair into one of the best financial decisions of my life.

My first time selling commercial property..in Hammond Indiana.. Find this agent on the website.. With 5🌟met him.. Very convincen he is the right agent.. Put his sign In front ..and put the property in some sites ..here where my problem start... His agency father and son.. Never list the property in mls multiple listing.. Never done any research how much the property worth.. Never saw him since the day we met.. Every time I call or Text him.. Just need to lower the price.. Or ask a question.... May be aweek latter I get amesseg ..after I text or call his cellphone..many times. Or Called his office.I even joked with his secretary by telling her I know what you are going to tell me..he is in a meeting ..on the phone..out off town or sick.. Two days before his contract expires.. I got a call thatSome body Want to see the property.. I was expecting to see him.. I met a gentleman not dress professional.... Short.. Tshirt and sandals ..i have to do All the talking with a nice well dress lady..I was embares... I Thought it's his son.. Even I was calling him buy his son name.. Find out later he Was the handy man ..no choice but to give one🌟...they don't have zero 🌟allway consult yor lawyer before Signing acontract.. Sellers it's allways your call ..if you want to list with him... I waisted 6 months?
