This place took my first and last month down payment. They agreed to purchase my stainless steal refrigerator and washing machine and said I owed them everything to the dollar they owed me.

I installed new hardware in the bathroom and window treatments.

I left the home better than when I arrived. Everything that was a complaint was existing when I moved in.

Ripped off by about if not more than $5000. I say good luck to anyone dealing with this company.

My husband and I rented from Eagle management for about 4 years. Lyle and Julie were exceptionally professional and very knowledgeable in all aspects of managing a property. Lyle went above and beyond for us and always was prompt in keeping the property maintained. Julie was so pleasant and kind. If you are considering renting I highly recommend renting from eagle management. A high quality company giving you a place to live that your proud to call home.

Do not rent with this company. I was a student, and I didn't know better, and there were no reviews for me to learn the truth about this business. I rented an older, but nice, little apartment, thinking that it would be a pleasant place for me to live while I completed my studies. It turns out the apartment was infested with mice, ants, cockroaches, and raccoons. I could not get any pest control help from the landlords, and I had to pay for my own traps and sprays and interventions. I had constant health and safety issues with my neighbors (including not infrequent visits from the cops to the complex). The landlords do not respond to any communication attempts very easily, either. And then, when I finally moved out, they manipulated me to get me to cover extra in utilities, and then they took over half of my deposit from me, even though I left the apartment in the exact condition (and even improved condition - one thing broke during my time there, so I replaced it myself with something far nicer). They itemized what they charged me for, and none of the things they charged for were left in bad condition, nor did they cost as much as they charged. This company is just trying to take advantage of poorer tenants. You will honestly save money if you rent from a slightly more expensive place, because there won't be hidden money traps along your way. This company is toxic and dangerous. Do not rent here.

Renter Beware:
Long-short: Glade we didn’t move in. Terrible at getting back to you. Doesn’t listen to voicemail. Will not call you back unless you get in touch Julie. Will keep every dollar you give him even if it’s not ethical. Will not fix anything and wife noticed him blaming previous tenants for damage that seemed very circumstantial.
Eagle Management on paper sounds great. Until you ask for a refund, need to get in-touch with someone, or have a question/repair that you want addressed. Lyle comes across as a very nice man until you need him to be a "Landlord". Before we were getting ready to move in we had numerous items we wanted to have address before the move in date. After a month of following up with Lyle and finally speaking to him a week before our targeted move in date he stated to my wife and I that none of the items had been address and the apartment was "as is". This included asking if we could just use our own washer and dryer, having a door placed on the pantry, making sure the unit was cleaned before move, and place screens in the windows, etc. With not a lot of time before the move we were stuck and had to accept. Thankfully just before we needed to move I accepted employment in a different city and we didn’t have to become renters with Lyle. However, now Lyle has refused to give any of our deposit back stating that per the lease it was all nonrefundable. My wife and I understand that the almost $800 we put down as the deposit fee we would not get back. What shocked us is he is now keeping the $250 for the pet deposit. Lyle, while you lease shows nonrefundable is it really ethical to keep a deposit for a unit that no pet has even touched. We should’ve seen the red flags from the start but we truly liked the area the apartment was in and the updated kitchen it had. In the end I am glad we never followed through with this plan seeing how Lyle handles his business and potential customers. I would never recommend a unit from this company to any of our friends in the Lafayette area.

I've seen some negative reviews here, so I wanted to chime in with a positive one. I've been renting with Eagle for over a year and have had a wonderful experience. Lyle is incredibly kind and very flexible, and Julie has always been very sweet and helpful. I've had nothing but good experiences with maintenance requests, and have even had help doing things like replacing light bulbs in tall ceilings and requesting paint to re-paint the trim in my apartment. The property is adorable and well-maintained, as well as reasonably priced for the size, quality, and location. I would definitely recommend Eagle.

This business is illegally using tenant's deposit to do routine maintenance. Security deposits should only be used when tenant is responsible for damage to the property. Even normal wear and tear is owner's responsibility. Their business is illegal. I encourage everyone who have been treated in this way report this conduct.
You can see in the picture below how much they charged me for. I was in their property for only six months.
Plus, they never took care of the things they said they would when we moved in. So many promises made, none were acted upon.
Needless to say, carpet was left in great condition, I even checked with the cleaning company and they said there was nothing wrong with carpet.

I've found the management flexible and responsible, haven't had to move out yet, so don't know what that experience would be like... things can always turn weird then. I would like to post a review now, though, because I would have expected my experience to be much worse from reviews online. At least two of my upstairs neighbors (also women) as well as myself have always had positive dealings with Lyle. We also enjoy the property we are living at, the neighborhood, and feel that the cost of the property is fair. My family has experience with managing rentals, and I've heard stories, and so I take all negative reviews with a grain of salt. As such, my review is skewed as positively as possible! 😀

Eagle Management has never been anything but good to me. Julie in the office is a doll. She is pleasant to work with and if you're late on your rent, the office is more than willing to work with you. The maintenance men are nice and timely. And the owner, Lyle, is just about the sweetest guy that there is. He is very knowledgeable about the properties that he owns and manages and he does what he can to give you what information he can to help you find the best home or apartment for you and your family. I will continue to rent with Eagle Management for the foreseeable future.
