Entwood are scam artists! Warning I can’t warn you enough! Theybtake advantage of you ! My neighbors balcony was literally sliding off like a mud slide and he has just moved in and they didn’t even offer him any compensation! I was attacked by pit bull on the property when and no one dis anything to compensate me! The policy was well mannered pets with shots and had to go through a meet and greet but they weren’t upholding there policy and i was just blamed for being upset about it when i moved out they tried to soak me for $600 dollars on top of my cleaning deposit becaue they are so broke ass ! They are scam artists not ethical and not honest

WANRNING do not rent with these people and except your deposit back. They took multiple $1500 deposits on contract and completely disregard the money and the contract. I’ve called several times to speak to a manager, they have some young girl at the front desk give you run around answers. I’ve been trying to contact management for months to receive my money back. They refuse to even contact you back. AVOID… major scam! I’ve had to hire an attorney, avoid dealing with these thief’s.

Entwood will give false and misinformation. Emily is never in the office. And to say they are shady is understatement. The most frustrating part is there lack of conversation skills. Your response said honest and transparent?! Well asking for a certified letter of my intentions after the 43 days, you asked for contract and photos seems doesn’t seem transparent to me.

i could go on forever about this place, from the moment i moved in there was a roach problem that was ongoing till i moved out.

They tried getting people to tour my apartment when they were aware of a roach problem. they just want money and will do anything to get people to move in

They tell me the apartment is going to get treated and the people who treat the place is locally linked to the apartment management and not done by a professional.

Oh and if you don’t have roommates or they decide to leave, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR UTILITY BILL!!

they also charged me 2,400$ as a deposit for damages and good luck to them getting that money. this whole company is a joke telling me they are charging me 900$ alone to pay for painting every door and every wall and cieling of every room. NEWS FLASH NOTHING NEEDED TO BE PAINTED

Property manager Brandon made sure to get me assistance ASAP when my doorknob broke and I was locked out of my unit. Adam from maintenance helped me out immensely with my broken door knob. It was much more involved than your standard knob replacement, but Adam got the job done quickly and with a smile on his face. Got a call to handle a wasp nests and the smile never left. Grateful for Adam’s assistance!

I've worked with quite a few HOAs in my time, and this has certainly been the most money-leeching, least helpful one I've ever encountered. They do not care about serving their community, nor the members of their association. They care about making as much money as possible. Which is fine, but maybe be less transparent about it, and throw in some decently helpful customer service.

Lets us apply for a house with no intention of renting to us. Told they would reach out to us but never did. Terribly ran and should stay far away from properties. Didn’t even mention the 300 dollars in application fees they took from our group. Have reached out about a refund and heard nothing. Management is terrible. Wish I didn’t have to write something like this but what is happening over there is just unethical and sad. EDIT: notice they put private business below to make themselves not look as bad. I have been reaching out for my refund and have not got a single call about that or availability on the house. Whoever wrote that reply is a joke and I expect my refund soon. Sad its only when your reputation is on the line this company wants to do something.

Please, please, for the love of God... Do not sign a lease with Entwood Property Management.

My lease ended with this company a couple of weeks ago. I would not feel right if I did not leave a review warning people about my experience. If you are considering leasing with this company, I urge you to continue reading.

I came to Chico for school from out of state and had no family or friends here. The rent was reasonable and the security deposit was very low in comparison to other places in the area. The house was modern, well upkept and I liked the company.

A couple of months later, the horror began. I had an individual lease and unfortunately was not allowed to know the identities of my roommates until after I signed the lease. There were constantly people coming in and out, screaming at all hours of the nights, cops coming to the property multiple times, firearms on the property, lots of threats. My stuff has been stolen, destroyed or in some way damaged multiple times by drunk, scary violent men. Not the kind of situation a 5'3 girl from out of town with no one would ever want to be in, let alone live in.

I BEGGED this company for help. They were unresponsive, callous and did nothing. I was afraid for my life for most of my lease, and I understand that this company wanted to profit and would have rather not been involved, but if something would have happened it would have been on them.

This company will NOT care about you. This company will do the bare minimum. I was too afraid of making a police report as I was living with people who had threatened me and Entwood knew. I asked for ANYTHING to be done. Nothing happened and no assistance was given. The lease states rules for all the roommates. These rules will not be enforced.

This might not happen to you if you sign with this company. I genuinely hope it wont. On the other hand, I would STRONGLY advice anyone, especially new coming students, to PLEASE sign somewhere else. I could have very much lost my life here, and it will take a long time to fully recover from the trauma I have endured over the course of the last year. I would hate to see this happen to someone else.

Edit: I see entwood has responded. I was not allowed out of my lease, nor offered anything to help protect my safety besides a “too bad” basically. I was told I could pay 200 dollars and find someone to take over the lease. My only option was putting one of my friends in danger and handing them even more money.

I was also not even allowed to know the genders of my roommates before I moved in. I asked and the property manager told me that I wasn’t allowed to know.
