I’m not what you would call an average home buyer. I’m a 19 year old fresh out of highschool working a regular 7-5. Don’t make crazy money but just enough to get by. You can imagine how difficult it could be for someone like me to find a home in this economy. But Debbie and her team at evergreen not only made this possible, but made me feel valued, respected, and taken care of. Not neglected nor lied to. I’m also happy to share that I’ve just finished moving in to my new townhouse that I’m financing completely by myself. My best advice for people still searching for the best plan, would be to expect not to have the perfect plan right away. Before I came to Debbie, I had already gone through 5 or 6 other lenders that just couldn’t handle the task of finding such a low income household. Even then, with Evergreen, the right path wasn’t available right away. It took some time, a lot of patience, and an amazing realtor, but it worked. It can work for you too.

Debbie was very enthusiastic and eager to help me… until she ran my credit and apparently saw I wasn’t worth her time. I understand I don’t have great credit, or make enough money to apparently be a conceivable client to you, but I work dang hard for what I have and was raised to treat people with a certain level of respect. Not even bothering to call someone back and let them know you can’t continue their application is super rude. Went completely ghost after running that credit check. This was my first ever attempt at a home loan, and I came to Debbie at the recommendation of a realtor. The way I have been made to feel from this whole interaction is a major confidence shaker. Unlikely to ever try this process again. So thank you for your upstanding professionalism.
