The next level of scammy appeared in place of Poplur. Evernest is truly the king of scammy. If you are an owner, stay away from this place. They will scam your money from you. Why do you use a "middle-man to manage your repairs between Evernest and the vendor who actually does the repair? How much of a cut do they take costing the owner more money? Why do the contractors say it can take 6 weeks to get repairs approved? Their employees are geared to straight-up lie to you. This is truly the worst management company I've dealt with in the 12 years living in this place. Stay away from this management company

They have a third-party vendor from overseas who send messages to you at all hours of the night about repairs? Why are you using a third-party vendor to harass tenants well after hours. I had to threaten to file a harassment charge against the company after requesting it to stop. This charges you so called "fees" 12$ fee for such things as airfilters every three months, but do they? These are hidden fees to take more from the tenants. A 250$ lease renewal fee? Dear lord what a scam. 49.99 protection fee? Yet this doesn't protect you from paying for repairs. This is strictly to take more money from the tenants. Stay away from this company. The Attorney General needs to looks into these so called fees

Still waiting for my security deposit 20 business days after move-out, despite their own document confirming a full refund with no deductions. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 33-1431) requires deposits to be returned within 14 business days. I’ve followed up and sent formal notices—no payment and no accountability. Renters, be cautious. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Update: poplar homes has apparently done so much shady garbage that they are now Evernest Homes! They STILL have not given me my $500. So much effort to evade paying a deposit. I have however found the names of every person in charge there and will be contacting them. If I don't receive responses, I'll be taking them to court. Poplar Homes is now the owner of Zendoor, and it's safe to say they're more than fine with scamming tenants. With fake office locations, emails that do not work, and phone numbers that lead to nowhere. They owe me a $500 deposit of which I have paperwork proving the fact. They also failed to abide by A.R.S. §33-1321. If I do not get my money, I will be taking these people to small claims court to force them to give me my money back. You have my word.

We were in contact with Leasa on January 11th to do a tour of a home and had a time set up. After setting up the time and date, we were told it was no longer a time to set up the tour, but to show up at the designated time or reschedule through the app. When trying to set up another time to go and view the house, Poplar decided to not answer our phone calls or have anyone reach out to us. They would allow it to initially ring, and then hang up afterwards. Don’t do business with this company unless you want to waste your time and money.

Poplar homes has made renting truly easy!! From the first viewing, to applying, to now a year later renewing my lease, Lindsay S has made the experience seamless as well as enjoyable! I used to live in a luxury apartment and never talked to the same person at the front desk twice, while here Lindsay has been a main point of contact for me for over a year. I also have had a couple issues with my dryer and it is fixed within 5 days and they check in with me throughout the repair process. This last time Mary helped me get in contact the vendor and checked in everyday until it was fixed! Awesome experience so far, looking forward to renting from Poplar for the next year and would recommend to other renters in the area!!

Excellent company. Needed a few things fixed in the house and were repaired immediately. Their Customer Service is outstanding! Have spoken with customer service agent Ferdie quite a few times. He is always helpful and friendly and makes sure the problems are taken care of.

Sadly the worst rental company out there. Took 3 weeks for garage door to be fixed, over a week for new AC in 100 degree weather and now 28 days and counting for dishwasher to be fixed. Cannot ever even get a call back from a supervisor.
Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere.
UPDATE: week 8 of waiting for my dishwasher to be fixed.

Jason Jade Ragadi was wonderful! He walked me through the rental process from start to finsih! Was always pleasant! He would respond by phone every time i sent him a question through email, he would respond to right away! This process was so nice! Thanks Jason!
