Hopefully this review of our experience with Evernest Property Management Company is helpful. I would recommend being very cautious of dealing with this company. Please see the following communication between myself and alleged leasing coordinator, Wendell Violata: Good afternoon Ms. Violata, thank you for your email, however to address a couple of statements in your email made by you that are inaccurate. You have not made an attempt to contact us or left any messages for us since we spoke on yesterday. In fact, we attempted to contact you and Miguel regarding the electricity being shut off when we toured the property last evening, which is why we were waiting to hear back from you before paying the $2,745.00 deposit request you sent us. We wanted to make sure that the property was cleared and in good standing on the owner's behalf before committing such a large amount of money. It seems quite strange, that the next communication we received from you is you informing us that the property is no longer available. I guess that Section 8 candidate you mentioned multiple times during our conversation was able to get the deposit in if there ever was one. The whole process with you all has been very unprofessional and unorganized, resembling a hoax or scam, so as of now we're just out the $130 dollar application fee we paid. I'll be sure to leave Evernest a review on your website to share our experience with your company. Also, please save the canned response that I'm sure you'll leave in reply and instead invest that energy into actually improving your business model.

It’s me again! This is my second time reviewing this trash company. There hasn’t been any power at my house for 6 days going on 7. My representative stated that they were initially waiting on the estimate from the vendor but this morning let me know that they are currently doing a bid to see if they can get the work done for cheaper? How is this okay ethically to have me in this home with no power? No heat? No hot water? No air circulation. Why is this not seen as an urgent issue to get resolved? I am forced to go to a hotel with it being so cold in my house. If I had no money saved for a hotel, what would you all have done then? This is ridiculous. This company has been nothing but a headache for me since transferring over from north point. I cannot believe you all treat your residents this way. It seems as though the only way to get across to these people would be to take legal action against the company.

This has been the most horrible experience. I was so excited to move into my rental home this morning, only to see that the front window had been busted open. Not only that, but Evernest never did a move out clean from the prior tenant and the house was still in gross condition! And to top it off, NONE of their staff has helped me. Adriana told me “I” needed to call THEIR maintenance vendor myself to set an appointment for the busted in window to get fixed, and send pictures to “PROVE” this house was in fact never cleaned prior to move in. I called the vendor she gave me, and they tell me they don’t even have a work order to fix my window! Now I can’t proceed with moving in, and have no update after calling multiple times. I will be getting legal aid and contacting the BBB.

The communication is really terrible. Customer service line picks up and they have no real answers to anything, they will constantly tell you to reach out to the leasing agent or say they’re requesting a call back for you and I don’t hear from anyone after that. Application approval process is fast and communication after that is dead. Liz is easy to reach and quick to respond. However, my agent is Miguel and I can’t get any response from him after many calls and emails. Spent my money on applications fees for zero communication after applying.

Terrell did an amazing job! He worked very hard to ensure I had cool air and heat for me and my kids. He didn’t forget about me like most maintenance workers. He stood on his word and completed the job in a good timeframe.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is the most negligent company I have ever worked with. My surprise that they are still in business is an understatement. They play dumb. Pretend like the managers and people who are over the problem you have are not available ever and simply DO NOT CARE about any REAL problems you might have.

My family has known of mold in our house for over a month. I have been sick for five months straight with no end. The rest of my family also has been sick and had their body's affected. Thousands of dollars in medical bills. As soon as we got the results back we reached out to them expecting some help or communication about how to rightly go about this. Nope! we have had zero communication. All they have done is make excuses. Blaming the results on possible dirt in our house or our cats... talk about being incompetent. They have sent cleaners to vacuum and wipe up our kitchen counters. Do they know that's not how you get rid of mold? I had to quit my job because of the mold. And I've had to quit a second job because I can no longer stay at that house. We have been homeless for over a month yet every time we call we get hung up on or told they don't know anything about this problem and can't get anyone on the line that does.

I was surprised when I saw that they have over five stars till I started to look at the higher reviews which stated nothing in their comment besides a bunch of phone numbers. Obviously automated. Not a real review.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Evernest Property Management, ultimately wasting $65 on an application fee. As someone new to the country, I had several concerns regarding my eligibility to rent due to my lack of credit history. I reached out multiple times to the leasing agent for clarification, only to find that they were unable to provide answers to even the most basic questions and asking me to apply first.

Despite my skepticism about qualifying, I proceeded with the application in good faith, hoping for guidance. However, it became evident that Evernest was more focused on collecting the additional $65 rather than addressing my concerns or assisting me in determining my eligibility. While I understand the importance of following processes to find the right tenants, I believe a more customer-centric approach—where concerns are acknowledged, customers are heard and solutions are offered—would significantly improve the experience and trust for people as leaders in the real-estate sector.

As the principal applicant, I provided all necessary details, yet there was no effort to assess my situation or help me understand whether I could proceed confidently since my concern is not the application fees rather time as i need to find a place to live. Given this lack of support, I ultimately withdrew my application. If this is how the company operates during the leasing process, I worry about how they would handle future concerns should I need assistance as a tenant.

I sincerely hope Evernest reevaluates its approach to customer service and provides better transparency in the application process.
