I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the service I have received from Evernest Property Management in Tucson, Arizona. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I feel compelled to share this to warn others.

I reported a significant issue on August 6 regarding a tree on the property that required urgent maintenance due to damage from weather conditions. Despite my timely notification, there was no follow-up or action taken by the management team. This neglect turned into a serious problem when the tree ultimately fell, blocking our access to our vehicle and creating a hazardous situation.

When I reached out for assistance, I was met with vague responses indicating that they were "waiting for a vendor to provide a quote" for the tree's removal. This kind of inaction is unacceptable. It reflects poorly on the management’s ability to address urgent maintenance issues effectively.

The lack of urgency and communication is concerning, and it has caused me unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I genuinely believe that if my initial report had been addressed properly, we would not have faced this ordeal.

I urge prospective tenants and property owners in Tucson to consider my experience before engaging with Evernest. Property management should prioritize tenant safety and well-being, and I regret to say that Evernest has fallen short in this regard.

Until this situation is rectified, I cannot recommend their services.

I applied to an apartment through Evernest and was not pleased with the process at all. The application fee is hefty, and after submitting my application I was contacted by Jess telling me my paystubs were rejected by their “fraud software”, so my application was delayed. I’m a school teacher and the paystubs were directly downloaded from the website. So, essentially, my application was delayed and I was accused of fraud with no apology. Their process for accepting applicants is first come, first serve, so this could be a serious problem if you’re trying to secure a place. I was also denied a refund for my application fee after this went down. Note with this management company they have hidden monthly fees added to your rent that isn’t in the advertisement.

Recently my family and I where in need of a home to lease.I had no idea how competitive the rental market was. But fortunately I meet Joe with the Nordstrom Group when he showed us a house. Unfortunately we didn't get it , but he went above and beyond to help us find one.

The home we found was perfect but wouldn't be ready for another week, at that point we needed to be in ASAP. The Nordstrom Group was able to get us in Monday. Vanessa is our property manager, she is phenomenal. She has answered every email and every call I've made.

Since we moved in before it was ready we had to have maintenance come and install a new dishwasher. Glen was fast and friendly. We also noticed a cat litter box smell in one of the bedrooms, I mentioned it to Vanessa and she had it replaced! Who you rent from is very important. With the Nordstrom Group I have piece of mind knowing we're in good hands. I highly recommend them. Also sorry I forgot to mention the house was very clean, painted in a good color and the front and back yard were in excellent shape upon move in.

Update: after submitting my notice over a month ago for terminating their services, AND I moved back into the property. Ive had to deal with 1) none of the repairs or even cleaning being done by the company. But i have also had a break in where locks were damaged. Nothing was stolen but refrigerator shelves i had out to be cleaned were installed. Weird, right? When I called to ask then about that, plus unannounced visitors coming late in the evening saying they were sent by a cleaning company. Evernest has yet to respond to me at all with my issues and/or safety concerns. There has been zero contact from them.

Pro: Iibbar, my current manager. She's so helpful.
Con: communication between company and home owner.
Evernest was not my original property management company. After 2 or 3 company takeovers Evernest is who now manages my property. Being this was my first rental I don't know much about what to expect. Saying that, I feel like communication is non existent! I only get a few emails and it's normally within a very tight deadline of a couple days or so they need a response. I've had the wrong amounts deposited into my account multiple times and then random charges I didn't approve or were aware of. They didn't use my home warranty to have appliances fixed. At the moment I'm dealing with tenants that trashed my property and Evernest doesnt seem to care at all. The only little bit of light I've had is my newly appointed property manager Iibbar, she is the most helpful person I've in 2 yrs and 3 companies during my rental journey. But as far as Evernest I wouldn't recommend.

Grecia Grijalva is our communication manager at Evernest Property Management. We encountered some issues at the move-in and after move-in but Grecia was very supportive and responsible. She responded promptly to our requests or inquiries, and she resolved those issues. We sincerely appreciate her support.

I am an owner of two residential properties in Tucson AZ being managed by Evernest! I have gone through 4 individuals managing my properties in the past two years with many problems! I would not recommend this company to any potential home owners in Tucson looking for a management company! Total lack of ownership by the management personnel of this company (including company’s CEO)! They promised home owners last year that they were working on improving customer experience but nothing has changed; still only one agent managing many properties spreading them so thin causing delays in responding to home owners and tenants! You have no way of getting a hold of anyone via phone; typically it goes into general VM box and then you wait! Email is even worse experience! I have been penalized by my HOA because they failed to pay the dues for a year despite the fact that they were listed as the responsible party and the statements go to them for payment. Home warranties were allowed to lapse, repairs requiring owners to submit payment before dispatching! I am exploring other options and not ruling out reaching out to the AZ Real estate commission to report my experience with dealing with Evernest.

They make you pay $200 to renew your lease and they add a $40 renters benefits package that states the will send you air filters every month or 60 day period and report that you paid rent to your credit bureaus. I been under the new lease for 10 months and they have sent the air filter once. I contacted them and asked for my money back for for them to send the filters and they said one filter is acceptable for that amount of time. Then we had in issue with a clogged toilet and tub draining slowly . The toilet was backing up into the tub. The plumber cleared the toilet same day and said he found hair scum and a plastic in the drain. They put the charge and are trying to stack up a bunch of late fees in the portal. I been trying to speak to Natalia Flores and she keeps avoiding the calls and not returning calls. I am trying to get to a higher supervisor but they avoid tenants. The only way to get any person live on the phone is to put you are not a tenant . This is the worst property management I ever have i delt with.
