Although we liked our previous insurance agent, we were in the unfortunate circumstance of his agency not having any coverage options for our home after we moved to a different state a couple of years ago. With only ten days until our homeowners insurance policy was due to expire (and you know that mortgage company was salivating at the opportunity to add in costs for its far more expensive Lender-Placed Insurance), the team at Family Insurance Services sprang into action. We found a great policy with comparable coverage and were able to execute the documents in time to... hope we never actually need to use it 😅.

In addition to the swift assistance, the team is knowledgeable and was able to explain the difference in roof types, which led to us getting a slight refund in our premium. I would recommend Family Insurance Services - Fort Wayne to anyone who wants someone else to handle the headaches of navigating insurance policies. And they are local (for us at least), which is always a plus!

Shopping for insurance is almost as bad as shopping for a car! Jessica took my crazy insurance situations and did some magic. Used this company for the past 10-12 years, only to come to the conclusion that they hire employees with zero customer service experience and are very rude to their customers when trying to figure out a problem. Do yourself a favor and avoid 3rd party Insurance agents and do all the leg work yourself so that you will not have problems and get the run around that cause lapses in insurance down the road.
