Well I did Family Ties at the beginning 2009 beginning I did the program and got approval for extending myself 6 more months in the program plus I completed drug court an they did not help me get my kids they wouldn't not even let them stay with me there even though I was in reunification at that time they gave me the run around an there famous "words we will see "an though I still did not get them back I'm still clean to this day I have contact with my kids I get to know how they are doing very now an then . they may. not of helped me get them back but I'm still clean that's about all they did do

Went there the year January 2017 left in August and i promise Ive been taking it one day at a time and been clean from meth for going on 6 years on January 29th. I must say though we had PCI (Parent Child Interaction) on Thursdays and I was the only person without their kid so that rubbed me the wrong way because i always had to participate.

From what i understand , when you go to a rehab center, its for you to be able to get rid of your addictions so you can raise your family or just to get your life back on track. These are the things that they don't do that i think they should be doing for their patients:
*better meals with fruits and vegetables (5 small meals instead of 3 big ones)*this is statistically a healthier choice*
*no smoking (or give them each a personalized chart of how many cigarettes they can have and keep lessening the amount untill they are free from the habit of smoking)
*Allow them to have some sweets (all that pasta you feed them turns to sugar anyway so what's the difference?)
*no coffee (or at least decaf) like come on their pregnant women there and your letting them put nicotine and caffeine into their bodies? Which are both addicting drugs. Just because those ones are legal doesn't mean they aren't harmful or lead them back to using harder more illegal drugs.
* the center is for women . women are emotional creatures especially the pregnant ones. Yes, they're all adults and should control their emotions , but they are still human so don't go giving strikes or talking down to them if they're having a bad day and don't want to share their personal life and feelings with strangers. Some might also have something called social anxiety. If they have a hard time sharing out loud, maybe just have them write things down and turn it in to the staff later . these women are adults which means they want at least some control over what's going on in their life , so give them options of what they can do if somethings make them feel uncomfortable. This is my assessment from what I have observed in their facility.
