If I could rate 0 stars I would! DO NOT RENT HERE! Renting an apartment with this management Company was the worst mistake of my life! Don’t be fooled by cheap prices and fake reviews. you will pay in stress and tears!

There has been problems since I moved in! Very slow responses from both property manager and maintenance. The maintenance team I will admit is doing their best, but there must not be enough of them.

I’ve only been in this unit since September. One work order took 4 weeks to complete! The second, which was mold, took 2 weeks because of misinformation between employees about permission to enter with a key and all around incompetence. (apparently you have to be home for them to complete a work order. But it took over a week for that information to be shared with maintenance and myself! You will have to leave work if you need something fixed and stay for the duration of the repair.) When I first reported the mold, it took them 2 days to show up even with pictures included in the request!

My last straw is the power to my unit was turned off from the outside breaker while I was on a trip. Come home to no power and all the food in my fridge and freezer was rotten! (downstairs unit was evicted and I am pretty sure they turned off my power instead of the evicted unit.) First they tried to blame SRP, but once it was confirmed by the company has been no outages, it was suddenly the inside breaker.

Well I left work to confirm for myself it was not the inside breaker. Maintenance came later and he confirmed power was turned off from the outside. They are now refusing responsibility and saying because it was fixed in 1 day, they refuse to compensate me for loss of food. Even though it is THEIR FAULT my power was out in the first place! Pics shown of food in freezer. Leaks at the bottom is because the food is defrosted
HORRIBLE COMPANY do not rent!!!

We suddenly had a 3-bedroom house that had to be rented. I had bought the house for my grandson, his wife and their children (my great grandchildren) when I received the news that they were splitting. My husband and I had moved to Hawaii. My (now) ex-granddaughter-in-law moved back with the children to her family so I rented the house to her family. Ty Nolan, from Fort Lowell Property Management, took over and handled it with expertise and tact. Ty found people who could handle repairs and gardening promptly and at a reasonable price. When I sent her a question or called, she responded right away. I have been extremely happy with Ty’s management.

We've had a good experience thus far hiring Fort Lowell Realty and Property Management to handle our property. Janet Smith was great to work with as a Property Manager — friendly, responsive, and professional. She answered all of our questions clearly, offered helpful recommendations, and had a quick turnaround in securing new tenants. Highly recommend her as a property manager!

During a conversation with a tenant in a property I own, he made a point to let me know that he really liked the property manager, saying she was on always top of everything and it was one reason he liked living there. Cool. This is one of 3 properties that Jennifer Hazlett, from the Phoenix office, manages for me, and I have to agree with the tenant about the good job that she does. A happy tenant is of course good for landlords as happy tenants are less likely to move and helps me avoid loss of income from vacancies. I have suffered the consequences from poor property managers at previous management companies...my properties suffered and I suffered financially as well, so I'm glad I moved over to Ft. Lowell and Jennifer, the peace of mind they give me is great.

My girlfriend and I lived in a property that was managed by Fort Lowell and owned by Nathan good. STAY FAR AWAY FROM BOTH FT. LOWELL AND NATHAN GOOD.

Fort Lowellā€˜s response time for any maintenance request is horrible. It will take at least 3 emails and follow up phone calls before anyone will respond.

Also we had to pay for toilet clogs and the owner told us ā€œwe should buy a snakeā€ and do this ourselves!!!! While also making us pay $200 for a plumber to fix the master bedroom toilet. Ft. Lowell told me to call the owner to dispute the charge, in which he ended up cussing me out and made us pay to fix the toilet HE OWNS.

At time of move out we spackled all holes and cleaned the entire apartment, yet we did not receive our full deposit back! We left the apartment spotless!

This property was poorly managed to say the least. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT renting any property managed by Fort Lowell. If I could, I would EASILY rate them 0/5. They are the absolute worst! They could care less about the tenants, and it's honestly said to see how little they "care". AVOID FT. LOWELL AT ALL COSTS!

As of currently, I am not particularly happy in how they're handling a takeover of my apt complex...

Before Fort Lowell Realty officially took over management of my apartment complex, they were already sending unsolicited emails and texts, telling me rent was due, and that I needed to open an account on their portal—before tenants were even informed of the change. One email even said, ā€œThis is not spam, please stop reporting it,ā€ which was a massive red flag.

Once the takeover happened, things got worse.

The new property manager sent out a mass email asking all tenants to resubmit their signed lease, addendums, and move-in checklists—documents they should have already received from the previous management as part of a standard transition. This came across as either disorganized or deliberately suspicious, and when I questioned it, I haven't received a response- as of yet.

Instead of addressing tenant concerns, an associate broker followed up with a generic rent reminder email—complete with strict late fee penalties and instructions on how to pay, but no acknowledgment of the confusion caused by earlier messages.

Walkthrough inspections were announced vaguely, with no explanation of what they're looking for or why they’re necessary beyond ā€œroutine.ā€ Though a 48hr notice will be given- which is what AZ law requires. Given the rest of their behavior, this feels more like an attempt at control than genuine oversight.

If this is how they handle communication and transitions, I can’t imagine how they’ll manage maintenance, tenant issues, or move-outs. Everything so far has felt impersonal, evasive, and rooted in control rather than clarity or respect.

To be clear: I’m not opposed to paying rent or following fair guidelines. I’m opposed to being treated like I don’t have a voice or a valid lease agreement. That’s not ā€œmanagementā€ā€”that’s manipulation.

This review reflects my personal experience as a current tenant of a beautiful apartment complex (April 2025). If anything improves, I’ll gladly update it—but as of now, I wouldn’t recommend Fort Lowell Realty to anyone.

I’m happy to write this review with a 5-star rating. Hannah is always so responsive and genuinely cares about anything I bring to her attention. Steve from maintenance is outstanding! He calls ahead and has a fast turnaround with requests. They are both so compassionate and willing to go the extra mile for my elderly parents who have lived in their unit for almost 3 years now. The first property management company was incompetent, unorganized, and rude. All conversations ended in arguments and threats (not by me). It’s night and day now. Fort Lowell really cares about their tenants and keeping the property safe, clean and well-maintained! Thank you Hannah, Steve, and everyone at the entire management company!
