My wife and I had a great week celebrating our anniversary by exploring French Lick while staying at the Villas. The Villas were clean and spacious. Almost every morning I was greeted by deer while having my morning coffee. The Villas sit right behind the casino but are far enough away that the wildlife is plentiful. Looking forward to going back in the summer for a whole different experience.

Such a great time and a beautiful place to stay. The sauna was awesome. Having the full kitchen allowed us to meet everyone's dietary needs easily. The dishwasher was a bonus.

It was fine. It was fairly clean but not as clean as it should have been. The pool and playground were great for kids and but the room was not baby-friendly at all. There are outlets everywhere so we had to move a lot of the furniture around and there was old food under one of the chairs. The location does not have a crib or Pack-n-Play to use or rent for small kids. The floors creak so bad that it was hard to keep the baby asleep. This place is old and dingy. There are stains all over the carpet and tile. Cabinet doors with hinges broken. The decor needs a serious upgrade. It looks like my great grandmothers house. Also, no shampoo.. only white bar hand soap. There is also a list of check-out procedures a page long. So it’s like an old motel with AirBnB requirements. This was a complementary trip so we didn’t see what it cost but I can tell you, I wouldn’t spend my own money here.

If you are wanting to be near all that French Lick can provide, are a timeshare owner elsewhere and have points to exchange for this location, I can highly recommend it. If you want luxury accommodations, it is not for you. The units for RCI exchangers are worn and pretty dated, BUT EXTREMELY CLEAN. The kitchen, BR, Bath and LR were all spotless, just the furniture and carpet could really use a change out. The carpet in the unit we stayed in was green, frayed along the edges of the hallway, and the couch cushions were very broken down. You fall backwards into the couch and have to climb out. The wood burning fireplace is great, but a little problematic to get it to work correctly. Even with the damper pulled all the way open, we had smoke in the unit at start up every time we used it. We had to run exhaust fans and open doors to get the smoke cleared out until the fireplace warmed up enough that the cold air coming down the chimney was pushed out by the warm air of the fire. It usually took 5 minutes or so to get the fireplace to start drawing correctly, then the smoke air out process would continue for another half hour or so. These units are a little like glamping.

We have been staying at the Villas for several years. The units are very spacious, however the bathroom fixtures and kitchen cabinets are straight out of the 70's, right down to the Jenn-Air. This year, we noticed that the carpet had been replaced, as well as a good deal of the furniture, so that was nice. We had a couple of unresolved maintenance issues during our stay (no internet in our unit and thermostat control issue), even though they were both "looked at" on our first day.

Dated but well worth the value. Clean and spacious! Much better than a small hotel at twice the price just because it’s “modern”

The property is badly dated and upkeep is lacking. Signs of roof leaking in all rooms of our unit. No soap, shampoo, etc. Bed was very uncomfortable and sheets were paper think. Years ago this place was great. No so anymore. For the price you might be better off down the road at Comfort Inn.

The two bedroom unit had plenty of space for all of the family, three adults and three children. The pool is enclosed and heated and a very short distance from the unit. Walking paths are right outside the door, with pretty views. It is less than a mile from French Lick Hotel and even closer to the shops and restaurants in town. The staff was very friendly and polite, check in was simple.
