Just like most South Shore Line stations, the station is bright and convenient, with ticket machines available.
However, since you have to enter through the Metro Center to reach the ticket hall, the signage could be a bit clearerโ€”it took me a moment to find my way. The cleanliness of the restrooms wasnโ€™t quite on par with stations like Miller or Dune Park. Also, keep in mind that getting from the hall to the platform involves crossing a skybridge, so make sure to allow a bit of extra time.

Just so that it is well known... this place is no longer "abandoned" it is owned by a nonprofit preservation group called The Decay Devils. Part of the property is also owned by NS. Do NOT throw litter on the ground.

You can google search the Gary Decay Devils to find out what we have in store as far as a vision for restoring the main building, and the funding efforts currently underway.
