After 30 years of doing business with Georgetown Insurance for our home owners and auto insurance policies I am writing this review to hopefully prevent other people from OVERPAYING for their auto insurance. I encourage any customer of Georgetown insurance to check in ANNUALLY with their agent to see fi there are any savings to be achieved on their policies. I was informed today that the last time our account was reviewed for savings was two (2) years ago. Sadly in those two years we could have saved more than $2,500 in premiums as my wife and I spent the weekend comparing insurance offerings and were able to find these savings pretty easily. It wasn't an easy decision as we truly enjoy working with the agents at Georgetown Insurance and we still have our homeowners policy with them [for now], but when I think of all the $1,000s of dollars we could have been pocketing in over-priced insurance for the last 30 years it makes me sick to my stomach.

They were super helpful when I was looking for auto insurance on a new car I was buying. I was buying a new car that had not arrived at the dealer yet but I knew I would need insurance. After a phone call and some emails with Georgetown Insurance Agency, they had everything set up so my insurance would start once the car arrived. They worked with the dealership to make sure this was all ready on time. The whole process was made easy and they were very responsive the whole time.

I encouraged my daughter to try your office for a quote when she moved to Georgetown and her current insurance renewal was going to be high. She handled everything through email, which was a very easy process and all emails were responded to promptly. She was very happy so I also decided to give you a try when my insurance was renewing and had skyrocketed in price, and I had not been happy with the customer service for some time. Very friendly service and easy transition to the new insurer. I had contact with Treva and Stacey during the transition, and both were wonderful. I have already recommended you to my niece as well so hopefully she will give you a call!

Georgetown Insurance has been a joy to work with on various aspects of our insurance needs. Beyond the basic blocking and tackling, they have also addressed some "nuances" in our unique needs with creative approaches. Stacey has been our main point of contact and she has listened well to our needs and found ways to advocate on our behalf with the various carriers with whom we have dealt. Other staff have always been helpful as well. They are true professionals and understand the industry as well as their client needs.

I have been a customer for almost 40 years. I have had my insurance ​for car and home through Mapfre. I have done generally pretty well with coverage of my policys over the years. I was contacted saying my property needed an inspection. June 11, someone did a walk through and took pictures inside and out. July 26, Nicole, someone I didn't know from Georgetown Insurance sent me a letter with two pictures saying I had overgrown bushes that needed to be pruned and trees next to my house needed to be removed. I had until Sept 1 to comply with recommendations or my insurance company may not renew my policy. I wrote back saying that all bushes and trees had been pruned and cut back regularly and I was assured all trees near my house were strong and healthy. And for almost 40 years there has not been any reported problem. ​July 31, the same woman from the agency wrote back saying she would forward my reply on to Mapfre for review but at the same time she fowarded me a cancellation of my policy that had come from Mapfre. I am in shock and they do not seem to be my advocate to Mapfre or show any concern. ​Instead they sent me a proposal that cost double the price. I wrote back. Stacey emailed me with an excuse. I replied but havent heard back.
